I do ^.^
Not sure how much coding this would require but i feel as if allowing the user to customize look/gender would be quite beneficial and would create substantial differentiation from the static model used in D2 and many of its orientations.

Another suggestion would be classification of male/female for each given class... ie

Male // Female

Wizard // Witch
Ranger // Amazon

I am sure people can come up with some as well for possible suggestions...

Just a thought however since i want to play a male witch =)
The issue isn't as much coding as it is artwork and writing. From watching videos, I feel like you are following some characters story. Just adding another gender to it would require a rewrite of the story, an entirely new set of animations, new models and textures as well as double the amount of voice acting done. That is a crapton of work and will not only take time, but money as well. It is a significant investment to do and I feel it is best used tweaking the passive skill tree, PvP, monster design and so on. Doubling the amount of work needed for shits and giggles does not really help the game become more immersive. Rather the opposite as the story either has to be detached from the character or you need individually adapted stories for each character.
both genders would be cooler

Realistically there would be no need to change any story line as the story is established from a "witch" perspective. 6 new models wouldn't require much artwork integration either. With the base established changing gender should be relatively easy. I want this game to last against big corporations games because I myself favor the indie teams. With every new ARPG and MMO allowing customization of characters I think this game should as well so it doesn't fall victim to being left in the past.

Bottom line: Leave the story line as is and add 6 new gender models.
rather let me revise my prior statement. With the constant evolution of games, it makes sense to make a game as dynamic as possible rather than leaving certain elements static. In the past, the static model worked extremely well, but, now that new games are introducing changeable genders(and those games are the pioneers and choose-able genders will now be the new STANDARD) it makes sense both economically as well as fundamentally to keep up the new standard. Customization can wait to be patched in(ie: through specialty town shops(and the more advanced the cosmetic may be, possibly charge for that)) but, allowing the end user to choose his/her gender is really the proper path.

^This is wrong. It takes a LOT of work to add playable character models.

I'm happy that the ranger is female, actually. But I don't think the story would work well for a female duelist--It feels like in the timeline a female duelist would be extremely odd.
I think male/female counter-parts to each already gender specified class would be pretty cool.

So for example, a Witch's male mirror would be a Warlock.

Maybe the Templar's female mirror would be a Prioress?

I think the Marauder, Ranger, and Duelist apply for both genders though.

Just my two cents.
Hail Satan, worship Doom.
