Solo Self-Found Support in 2.6.0

Thats cool, like iron man mode in oldschool runescape. aslong as you dont base the game around the vary small minority then itll be fine.

This sounds awesome! Thanks GGG.

Will we be able to continue our SSF characters in SSF mode after the end of a challenge league? Will there be an SSF-equivalent to Standard and Hardcore parent leagues, for example, or is that getting too complicated?
Edit: This question appears to be answered here.

I really like that you plan to enable us to choose when to transfer our stash, enabling us to reset the stash for new characters if we wish. Will the stash transfer work the same way as it does now, or will there have to be limits imposed?

I'm also all for the ability to access all skill and support gems within the SSF leagues as Chris also commented on in the reddit thread linked above (ideally, all leagues).

I think this is awesome. However, since they are separate leagues I feel like maybe the SSF players should get some kind of drop rate bonus but then it would be unfair if they transferred to the regular league and began trading those items. Maybe have some sort of option that is a permanent SSF that gives a drop rate bonus and one that isn't permanent and allows you to transfer to the regular league if you want to.

Bolded is what they're doing, as it's the easiest to implement.

This may be a bit of a niche request, but I do giveaways all the time, and I usually play SSF. Could we make it so that SSF players are able to trade items to non-SSF players of that general league, but the SSF player would not be able to receive items from the trade window?

You should be able to just make a mule character in your SSF league, place the item on this mule character, migrate it to the regular league and trade it to the giveaway winner there.

Ah! Genius! I will do just that! I put items on mules anyway, but for some reason that didn't occur to me, haha. Thank you!

Im very exited about this. This would make me motivated to play SSF again,
ive only tried it once so far in HC and it went well for a while
It would probably work fine as is described in the original post
If you implement it for 2.6.0 i will definitely choose SSF HC and try my best
on the ladders :-)
This would be something fun for old veteran players that havent tried SSF before,
so thats nice too

Good idea

Solo self found is a step in the right direction. Group found would be in the spirit of the game seeing as co-op is a pillar of the gameplay.

Here's a wake-up call for you: most play solo.
I have been in SSF since day 1 of PoE until today, absolutely no partying and no trading -- Can I convert my existing characters to SSF mode? ^^
Shadow Character Build:
Essence Drain + Contagion + Curse Vulnerable on Damage Taken + Decoy Totem
Armor + Energy Shield
Wand + Spirit Shield

so the xbox one version will be SSF it seems..

It would seem that they're using the PC game as a way to gather data on the state of their game in it's purest form. Something they should have started doing YEARS ago as many of us asked in the forum.

The data would go a long way in helping to create a solo campaign in the console version.

Isn't it awesome that SSF is for real now? :D

Also, I'm not sure if it's implied by the mode, but it might be convenient if towns were instanced to a solitary player, both for the feeling of seclusion and also because it would remove the bandwidth of transmitting all those other players' appearance and position data, potentially providing a smoother experience in town.

THIS would be delightful.
That's actualy a great news.
Hf :)
