Character Balance in Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra
" I'm tired of all the ascendancies being destroyed. The point of an ascendancy is identify, flavor, and having skills and abilities that focus on and enhance a certain set of skills, providing the ability to do "X" better than the other classes/ascendancies. The gutting of Necromancer is just yet another trashed ascendancy added to the list of other trashed ascendancies: Occultist, Trickster, Assassin, Pathfinder to name a few. Quit taking their identities, gutting their ascendancy nodes, and either removing the gutted nodes from the game or placing them on the passive tree for everyone to use. The classes/ascendancies should not do everything equally well. If so, what's the point? |

It's just taking player power from the tree to and giving it to items like 3.15
soon the tree will be irrelevant and the life nodes will be 2%. No fun for you, go farm another map. |

for god sake please already give some love to dominating blow, it didnt get any buffs for so much time. just add +10-15% to chance to spawn minion against unique and add +10 basic seconds to duration

" -100 I dunno why you love nerfs, but looking at your gear, I highly doubt that nerfs + removal of recombinators gonna help you to achieve more content compated to this league... I just dont understand - people are hurraying to changes that gonna make them farm less and increase the cost of their gear? Even the removal of recombinators already was a heavy hit for player's power and farm. And demanding nerfs?! Oh boi, why on earth you demand content to be harder? If it's so easy for you, there are 10+ mirrors solo farmed mirrors, 40/40 challenges and all that done under 2 weeks? In that case i could understand that u got bored and want harder content... Also, I'll be fine no matter what happens next league, IF i gonna play it. They dont nerf seismic to the ground? I play seismic. They killed seismic? I'll play poisonous concoction. Or something else. I ll farm my thousands of exa anyways. But I would enjoy game way less during the process if balance forces me to do it in archetype i dont like. And i could decide to play something more enjoyable. 3.13 Was the best league ever! 3.18 Rest in peace my beloved recombinators, I'm gonna miss you... I don't think Dominating Blow is an outlier, but rather just one of many unviable melee skills.
The way the game is designed, melee is just bad. Fortify buffs are unlikely to fix that. I'm cool with them shaking up the meta and balance though. I don't get why everyone is freaking out about that. The Archnemesis mods are still what people should be complaining about. That's the most annoying and lazy design choice POE has made since I've been playing. Stuff like Sentinel, Herald of Obelisk, Stormstrider, Toxic etc are just garbage and don't make the game play more interesting. |
