It's really amusing to watch GGG intentionally fall behind their competition after a decade out in front.

With the news Diablo 4 is likely to be on gamepass, maybe Diablo will get back on top. PoE 2 is looking to be a big flop if it's a game that will have needlessly limited hardware support and a loot game that's a poorly executed version of D3 loot goblins.

You guys really need to fix this issue, GGG, and go back to being a proper PC company that supports all hardware.

They can play wide but only if they have same or less FOV than normal players in 16:9. I propose forced zoom in for 32 & 21 :9.

I gave 3.19 a try, but the black bars on both sides really keep bothering me.
Please come up with a better solution, because this feels even worse than playing 4:3 on a 16:9 back in the day.

Also, do you have any thoughts on how you'll make sure to include 32:9 players in your new game? Or will we be dealt the same crappy hand there?

Got a feeling in the end light radius will be an actual visual radius around the character. Inside the circle everthing will be visible as normal and outside you can only see terrain you already explored, with some visual effect on it, but not the monsters.

At least that is the best solution i could come up with.

I would be happy with light radius being more of a thing. Been playing a bunch of D2R on my steam deck and the light radius is really nice for atmosphere. Black bars are the worst possible idea GGG could have come up with.
