Improvements to Item Drops
YES DUDE! Hopefully we'll get more fair drops based on the difficulty of a monster. Fighting a 3 mod rare monster to get 4 blacksmiths and 1 rare item wasn't too fun. High risk, low reward.
Let's keep the improvements coming, team. Thanks! Also, please make the patch notes as detailed as possible, take your time. What a joke. No word on actually fixing the problems with Archnemesis, just gutting all the mechanics we like of rewards and shoving them some of them back into the one we don't. This is so much more than highly optimized party based juicing strategies, they gutted monster loot throughout the game but left chest loot untouched. It wasn't a well thought out change and it wasn't communicated. The stated goals of the patch got people hyped up, people want those changes, but they aren't remotely close to what we got. I think I've completely lost faith in GGG after this post honestly. I love that Reddit is calling you guys out for anchoring this garbage system down our throats. Archnemesis needs to be removed or moved to being a map modifier. Old loot system is necessary to maintain consistency in item drops. Previously you could do 100 white T16 maps and get on average the same amount of currency. Now if the rares you encounter don't have the specific mods you need you'll get shafted and have awful rare items that nobody picks up or IDs. Also saying "massively" doesn't mean anything anymore. We took your "Content reworked" statement in good faith. We took "get your magic find characters ready" statement in good faith and they both have been MASSIVE NERFS. You have lost my trust.
