They're clearly doing things (we have around one update a day), why can't we stay civil while they do it?

A) The collection of changes this league happens to be something that a wide, diverse cross section of PoE players do not like AT ALL - it's not just SOME sort of gamers, it's a large enough percentage of most types of (PoE) gamers.

B) Many players have not liked the trend of the game since ~3.13, but it's different gamers feeling different things at different levels about various changes over time - and this has finally coalesced. You can actually compare this to other games and even social movements where trust and satisfaction is eroded over time, and it finally reaches a point - and BOOM!

Very predictable too. I mean, unless you misread the room or something, then it might be a surprise. OR maybe it's even worse than that (planned outrage handled a specific way in order to fool people into accepting changes they would not normally like).
