An Overview of Upcoming Changes

First of all, im not native, so sorry for my english.

As solo player this league, this steps on loot feels in right direction, but groups still feels boring and unrewardable. Playing as group we feel that we are loosing chances to find the right Loto-combo from rares.

From Harvest. . . What to say. . . No one the POE players expect or ask for those changes and nerfs. . . Just like Bestiary, people wanted some kind of orb to extract recipes from your horticraft to make easy sell it.
It was the best strategy to go from a mediocre stuff to a mirror stuff. Now feels good for swap essences, rest feels so useless compare.
Expect a step back on this because craft should be one of the best ways to get an awsome piece of gear, not a swaper fragmet.

I appreciate your changes coming, but I would also say as a casual player, the leveling loot reduction is a real issue. I can only play a couple of hours a day maybe a little more on weekends and I can hardly get any gear to be survivable in the first 50 levels. Can't buy it because there is no orbs dropping. Makes it very uncomfortable. I am the kind of player who doesn't even know what a magic find culler is and I have never fought an uber boss. But I still love to play and play every league up to T16 maps. Just... slowly.

That's the major complaint, our time is being wasted, we had consistent results for building our atlus tree last league, you wanted a mechanic you got it's rewards and buffs, now you get half the tree locked out.

Don't bother with beyond, the few drops that happen give massively nerfed results, don't bother with harvest, you need to do a dozen to get a single craft or did, I haven't had a second go yet, breach might be good if shards dropped and you could clear it, abyss could be good since it's a chest drop.

Don't do essence, you will die, don't do torment or exiles, or einhar either.

Expedition, blight, heist and maybe betrayal work still of what I have seen.

Shattering the currency base was not a good idea, ex might be used as they were intended to now but without a harvest re-roll option or divine shards that's harbinger down too, ex at least had harvest, shards and betrayal.

Minions fold like noodles, I really wanted alberons to be useful but who uses skeletons that die in a hit as permanent minions, would that vaal warriors were also affected.. I could use them as a literal defence layer instead of binning the shoes, I want to try wrathlord but why use spectres when they are gradually being nerfed into non existence, I want an AG set up but I can't risk my non existent currencies to see him die instantly to a rare.

The shift was way too far one way and the time investment for reward, that's why we play not for a feeling of "pride and accomplishment", you NEED to spend hours mapping for a chance at what's been dubbed the loot goblin, and unless you are in a MF gear set out, and you won't be or have, you have to call someone in and share it or lose out on that possible days long reward chest.

The lake was a good idea, choose your own fight, I like that, makes the choice of reward loot... you get where that is going, what loot, the mirror is more likely to give you a hundred vendor loot items for every one good enough roll.

Every time I hear build diversity it makes me laugh, 70-80% of the gems are unused past a meme builds, if you do not metabuild you will have a hard time until a HCSFF player says you are all just bad while he has a logout macro on every mouse key.

If you want to make a hard mode, give the logout button a three second activation, there hardcore players can restart the league every other hour.

Also, dot go Delve, youll be overhemingly surrounded and zerged by AN infested underground monsters without count.

Dark is conquered whole game.. All monsters now aura stakers 1000MS fast, always crit, 95% res, 3000% hp and ES and regenning.

No place to players here anymore.
Well the MF/culler stuff that's going on will be tough to fix, I think you underestimated your player base capability to [Removed by Support] when currency is at stake when you planned the loot shift.

The wording around the harvest looks to me as buying time to fix the other stuff and when the community is appeased then tell us that it stays as is, no more reroll keep prefix/suffix. Hope I am wrong though.

There are some nice suggestions between all the crying, I hope someone at least flags some of them to the actual developers.

It's a free game so no bitching, but my suggestion would be when designing any changes, I don't care if you kill harvest completely or if we are to go pinata hunting when we want some $$$.... or I do but to a point, to think about the big picture and the number of options/choices you are giving/taking away from the players.

When someone starts PoE and doesn't quit it after opening the passive tree, he is in for endless options that the tree offers, same with the atlas passive tree. With the changes I feel that there are fewer options on how to craft stuff, what build to play, and how to make $$$. Either it's fewer options or some options are far more beneficial than the others practically forcing you to do some type of content or shooting yourself in the leg(economically).

Also perhaps get some community testers, not cry babies but there are a lot of knowledgable people who could play test the stuff you are implementing, your testers are obviously not enough(not talking loot or archnem but the harvest craft prices dropping to 10% after initially stating that it's all good and tested is pretty much proving that either you lack the time/capacity to test everything or your process is just wrong)

tl;dr version: Let the guy who come up with the atlas passive tree idea run the show and get some people from your community to playtest the patch before it starts to give you feedback that you can trust.

All this sounds good, but all this constant change and shakes that your doing to the community is horrendous. The exalted to divine change loud have been good only if you add shards and make them drop not only from Harbingers but from other content as well. Erase the "Loot Goblins" please. Standard market is absolutely dead, Divines not dropping except from "The Goblins" how are we expected to trade ? So many people don't even want to log in to the game. Make PoE good again!
Could we please just remove Storm Strider and Heralding minions?
Otherwise please rework them completely.

Heralding Minions still offscreens you, and Storm Strider should have a CAP on how many mirages are allowed to be spawned as well as how fast they are allowed to move.


Easy solution to magic find TFT culling.
Revert the change.
Thank you for looking into this stuff can't wait to see the changes and hope to bring back crafting because we are back to primitive crafting. Also, a loot increase would be nice too. I hope to see more people come back and play after these changes. Cheers!
Harvest is completely messed up. The best crafts were removed. Some necessary crafts were removed. The remaining crafts cost to much. And with this, everyone will hoard whatever life force they get for these and never use any life force on any of the remaining crafts in the list.

It's not that the remaining crafts are bad, or not usable. It's that they are RNG, and in the old system when we were presented with them, it cost nothing to use them. Or nothing to ignore them. We either had base types or item types to throw the crafts at or we didn't. Or we did and simply didn't want to be bothered with the time sync at that point in time.

Now, all that we get is life force. Life force that must be saved and hoarded for the expensive crafts. So, now, all these filler crafts that we used to use, or didn't, as outlined above, are now never used. And may as well not exist. No one is ever going waste resources on RNG "refore rare" or RNG "convert" one item type to another. We may re-roll a borked corrupted map we can't run, but that's about it.

The old system, while a somewhat annoying interruption in the middle of a map, was way better. All we really needed was the ability to store more than 10 crafts.
Pls just remove AN from league specific mobs and rework them to be less spammy. Stormstrider rework is just a step. But a good one for once.
