Following up on Recent Feedback

I don't under stand why you can't have good harvest craft like reroll influenced mod. right now it costs around 3 divine for 15k of any lifeforce. i have never like harvest farming so being able to trade to have a chance to harvest craft would be dope. Big missed opportunity. And the idea that you cant have good harvest crafts while lifeforce is tradable makes no since except to the no lifers who play this game all day and capitalize on no one else getting to make end game gear except them.

Well, it's enough.

I played this league for two weeks, gave the developers time to fix everything.
But the main problems have not been fixed. I'm waiting for the next league, but I'm done with this one.

If there is no big improvement in the next league, I won't even start.

If someone likes it, I'm happy for you. Maybe someone gets fun of this league.
But I can't take it anymore.

Thanks GGG! It is good to hear you are considering feedback and making changes that you feel necessary.

As a player since Alpha, and a diehard fan of this game, I can only say that my advice would be to keep working on toning down Archnemesis. While it is a feasible system in theory, in practice it is often too punishing, too oppressive (with all the ground degens, flying orbs of death, very high damage spikes, etc), and not entirely worth it to tackle with some of these rares. To put it simply, and painfully (and believe me, this is something I never, EVER thought i'd be saying)... all of the recent changes make me feel like i'm playing a game that is gradually morphing into something resembling Diablo 3 - that colossal, shameful disappointment that drove me (and certainly countless others) to PoE in protest all those years ago. And even the POSSIBILITY of this happening to this beloved game... I kid you not, it is absolutely heartbreaking. I've had BREAKUPS that feel less heartbreaking than that prospect.

I recognize that you are working on this, and even slow improvement is good. But we're on your side, and I think sometimes its okay to let us know some misjudgments were made, and that you care enough to correct them. Because, we respect and admire your dedication to your "vision" - it's what brought you here, and what brought us here. But that vision is now an EXPERIENCE, and we share in it equally with you.

I don't have the time to search through nearly a hundred pages of comments at this point, but I wanted to ask those that have looked.

Anyone know why the harvest jewel implicits were deemed "too powerful to leave in once harvest was tradable"? I feel that they could just be appropriately priced at some value of lifeforce. I mean, I knew harvest was gonna be gutted, and I knew rerolling values wasn't going to be kept in, but... I didn't expect jewel implicits to get the axe.

Sounds like you're trying to avoid actual feedback by trying to get people to talk about the things you want to hear. While yes, it's good to ask for it, but why specify it to such a degree where it feels like alienating other type of feedback?

And aside from how badly it's phrased in a manipulative way, but it also matches what's going on.


What's wrong with just saying : STFU this is our vision.

Instead of acting sly and manipulative, while trying to pretend like you're making the changes towards what the people are asking for, but instead, working towards your own idea while saying: Thank you for the feedback, could you talk more about this one thing that I care about and nothing else?

Also, I'm having a hard time understanding on how was harvest not tradeable before?

Why can't Harvest lifeforce be like Expedition currency and be player only (non tradeable). This would allow Harvest to revert back to when it was good with better crafts, but keep this lifeforce idea in play. (Best of both worlds!)
archnemesis sucks and it doesn't belong in the game, and GGG is still trying to force feed it to us... wow thanks
