Lag spikes since 3.20

also having issues on frankfurt a lot.

packet loss starts near GGGs provider side. i hope they can solve it. i have no clue why amsterdam is also lagging if its really a provider issue at the frankfurt servers
Yesterday my ISP reset my connection completely, but that didn't change anything.

Today I changed the DNS Server in my router to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). (I know this can't be the problem here. Just trying anything.)

So far everything is back to normal for me today. Why? No one knows. My guess is that it's just an overload on some Telekom systems somewhere during prime time.

Edit: Lag Spikes started again at around 13:00 (CET)

@bibubabuit isnt telekom for me - the issue lies between telia and softlayer (GGGs datacenter ISP), @bibubabu for your trace it doesnt look to be on the link between telekom and ntt

Guys, contact your internet service providers and send them your WinMTR reports.

They'll help you figure it out.

It isn't a GGG issue.

Except, it is ,lol.

You have people around the globe, on each server getting these random spikes. Sadly, we ourselves can't diagnose and fix it and neither can the ISP.

Only GGG has the tools to actually do it. Hell, they can easily create a report of all the users that have had these ping spikes and see if there are commonalties there.
same thing here i get spikes especially when jumping between instance and hideout. my issue is that the spike keeps going up until i get kicked out of the server, its been happening allot in 3.20

Hopefully Telekom and GGG can sort it out, this problem was there a few seasons ago as well and somehow it disappeared so maybe it can be done again.

307 packets.

I have no packet loss but this happened in when i'm doing lab run.

When going through another lab room the latency spiked up to 40k and disconnected me from the game.
My major packet loss is always at

ae-2.r21.frnkge13.de.bb.gin.ntt.net

This is a node in Frankfurt, right?
It is a GGG problem. I'm gonna explain why I am sure it is.
Spikes and disconnects started yesterday. I'm playing from Bulgaria, connected to the Frankfurt server. Bulgaria is in the top countries in the world, regarding the quality of internet connectivity and bandwidth.
Some users here stated that playing through VPN is going to solve the spikes and connectivity issues, because of the better routing of the VPN providers.
So I tested this theory today. I have a Linode server, hosted in Frankfurt, so I've set up OpenVPN on it. I connected to it, and the problem is almost the same, a lot of spikes and latency bouncing from 33ms to 600ms. Only the disconnects issue is solved.
And as every other user here states, the problem is only with PoE, every other game or internet service is working flawlessly.

Edit: 2 hours later - unexpected disconnection occurred. :D
