This update ruined the game. Constantly frame drops to less than 8 FPS in delirium layer maps. I dropped resolution down to like 1280x1024, capped foreground frames at 30 fps, and all settings on lowest including sound. I just crashed after getting 3 frames for a few seconds. Before the patch, I was playing on 1920x1080 resolution at 30 fps without issues.

Linux borked. Proton 7.0.6 gives out an "unsupported backbuffer image count" error. Proton 8.0.3 silently terminates the process with no errors.

Lost 2 ravaged maps,one because evrything sky-rocketed,latency,cpu,gpu...died and to come back took me around 40 secs...pump destroyed;2nd one the game just closed.
Also shaders takes too long at max. Will wait u guys fix this,isnt working for me atm. Tested 3 diferent ways in options and just doesnt work. But better test it now,in a week start and a 'dead' league than in a crucial time. Thanks :) Last edited by iEvil1#7694 on Jul 24, 2023, 4:25:03 AM

4 months league everyone working on what is next and they deploy a very problematic patch 4 days before their announcements..

there are definitely plenty of graphic glitches in the game at the moment. some textures seems missing and lightning is a mess. especially in hideouts w/ many sources of lightning

i've crashed twice already from the new patch, its nevercrash before.
My rig is new too so that wouldn't be an issue. |

Hi I don't have problem having crashes but I see how bad it went
normally I can have 110+ fps to 55 uncapped while killing monsters but since I don't have gaming monitor I only have 60 fps but today the boss alone on DIG map I am having 48-50 fps 1v1 wit the boss ALONE and I am having stutters on every map I start and as I post this reply I just tried deleting the files on %appdata% (assuming the folder on %appdata% is the same 'cache files' that is being deleted when you started the game after updating it today) so I deleted it manually now it's about back about to normal behaviour although I can still notice the flaws of the patch today and it was not that bad for ppl curious and don't know how just Windows key + R and then type %appdata% then look for folder pathofexile then shift + delete :) Last edited by BAS_T#3068 on Jul 24, 2023, 5:38:14 AM

nice patch GGG, i cant even fucking open the game, after 10 seconds it freezes and shuts down..
i use an intel gpu so i guess jokes on me, A770M seems to not work at ALL with ur new patch since when i open the game while i have a twitch stream or any other video running it crashes both, so i guess its a video driver issue, that u somehow fucked up.. because the game was running perfectly yesterday |
