3.21.2b Patch Notes

since the last patch, every time i zoom out in my subterranean delve chart and try to move it to look where i want to go next my game chrashes/shuts completly down. every single time. before the patch everything was perfectly fine. can u pls fix this? thx.

Do you lag in Act 3 100DPS with 5% Attack Speed?
Do you lag into a 100% Delirium Maps?

Is that simple enough to you, This is why challenge can matter, If you still Act 5, You won't feel the same way as people end-game, Understood?

I mean sure, regual map compared to a 100& jucied delirum map is quite different. Regardless of challenges.

But as for performance with patch, challenges is kinda irrelevant.

I honestly hope the other people saying they don't have any performance problem at least play the game and aren't just defending GGG and this shitshow for the sake of doing it.

The patch didnt change alot compared to what everyone thinks. If you are crashing, it most likely is old shaders or old configs causing the crash. Do the troubleshooting steps. you should not be crashing.

I crashed 4 times day 1. I took steps.

I added the `-dx11 -refresh launch option to steam. that stopped my crashes.

I deleted the cache folders, that made my game even more stable AFTER shaders compiled.

Now its smooth as butter.

Did you update your graphics drivers?

have you done ANY troubleshooting steps?

Read through the comments. People who actually do something are finding their problems fixed.

Hey, buddy, pls do a juicy map for us (delirium map no need 100%, 40% be fine and with harbinger) If you have no problem with that, then we talk.
Honestly no need for that, i've played with alot of people since the patch and searing exarch influence alone is enough to make their our pc lag.

Next day and game on Steam not work in MacOSX. The game doesn't even launch after last hotfix.

After the engine updates, performance has dropped drastically for me
Went from 100+ fps capped to max 50FPS in town and maps, with dynamic resolution being active full time for whatever reason (pretty sure it is setting the game to 800x600). Doesn't really matter what settings I change or if I change the base resolution. No crashes at all, just performance issues.

And the FPS is like that in Act 3 town in SSF, same with end game characters in non-ssf.

After launching the game, CPU usage is at about 30%, GPU usage jumps to 100% with barely using any Vram and using about 6GB of RAM. Tried closing everything extra in the background and no difference was made.

Have tried launch options, have tried clearing/removing the cache manually, have reinstalled, have verified missing files, have tried settings, have updated drivers, can't see any difference no matter what I do.

CPU: Ryzen 7, 3700X
GPU: Radeon RX 5700 XT
SSD: Samsung Evo 970 NVMe M.2 SSD
RAM: 16GB DDR4
MB: B450 Tomahawk MAX
Windows 10

*Edit: Just realised I didn't try DX11 yet. Switched to it from Vulcan/DX12 and instantly back to stable 100 fps, no dynamic resolution. For some reason the Vulcan/DX12 FPS performance got butchered for me. CPU usage also went down to 20% and GPU usage to 65% after switching to DX11.

Don't know what happened yesterday but game works fine. Fast loading screens, fps drops are gone. Good work GGG =)
Before the patch I was playing smoothly any kind of game content, but now I can only play on maps with a very small number of monsters or only put a mechanic for example delirium. If I put delirium and heralds is impossible to play because my fps drop to 2 at once, not to mention that I can not enter the port of the renegades to play Heist because the screen stays loading eternally.
