I couldn't disagree with this more - Sanctum was mostly bullshit to play as melee, and full on 110% bullshit to play as slow aps melee. You can win trials with anything. You don't even have to kill the mobs.

Trial is the most build agnostic mode ever made, or is at least tied with Blight for that distinction.


show me your non jugg melee char that is 600-700rank.

ok, so mby there is some cheese to it, idk, but its just that - a cheese strat to play the mechanic without playing it, so it doesnt make it balanced in any way.

It's irrelevant to be melee or not melee...unless you're going to kill the mobs? which requires like 30m dps - which takes a whole lot more to build than maxing attack & spell dodge and block.

D_four_bad_baseg_xD is currently rank 1100, but I haven't been playing much the past couple days waiting for the patch b/c I'm losing like 15% of my runs to turtle and ghost mobs - and even though its still profitable its just frustrating.

Look at my Hierophant. I'm at rank 600+ and I have no problems playing the league mechanics.
The real problem is that people think in trials they should tank and/or kill the mobs while you have to play smarter and bait them while your team does the job.

Yes there are some frustrating things (titanic shell, spear dancers etc. etc.) but this league mechanic plays completely different than any other content in the game and maybe that's why I love it so much.

P.S. I have maybe a total of 3k HP+ES (I'm anything other than tanky) and I usually switch to a rare 5c 6 link armor chest and use some utility gems (GMP, Multiple Totems, Chance to Flee, Ice Spear, Spell Totem and Knockback)

Any mechanic which forces you to hold the mouse button down for 30 sec or more is an instant fail. It should never be in this game, but seems they lack the creativity and effort, resorting to this lazy solution. I hope ancestor does not go core. If it does, we’ll it makes no difference for this end of shelf life game.

For now it is not possible to go core because it's too imbalance and we have second week of ligue and no patch to mechanik sad . Maybe some changes or buffs to our team totems, this should be more like autobatler but ours totems are trash compare to enemy.

Ancestors was fun even with the gimped rewards, and with it comes strike range, onslaught on hit, chance to fortify, fortify on hit, great stuff that melee players can grab from, its just great work by ggg this league that needs some balancing on one shots and some units
