Please explain to me how casual are supposed to enjoy poe?
Can't do sanctum...30min with nothing to show for it (guess my builds is wrong)
Can't do trials...30min with maybe ~20-40c to show for (also wrong build apparently) Can't do ubers...unless I have a)gear b)the "correct build" c)play the whole entire season to finally enjoy the game?! Maybe it's just this season or something, feels diff, hard to enjoy it as a GAME. Logging in feels like work/2nd job. you need a special build for sanctum
you need to spend hours ranking up in trials. apparently after that they will start getting rewarding dont know about ubers as i never tried them |

" Find enjoyment in other things than the ones you mentioned. If you can't - well then you should just look for a different game or at least wait for the next league. I've switched to playing ssf ruthless, because many of the things bothering people in normal mode just don't apply there. Will I be able to complete the Atlas? Probably not, but just getting into high yellow or red maps will be a success for me and result in enjoyment (for me). You just have to find a way to enjoy PoE, and if you can't, don't worry and look for another game. Bird lover of Wraeclast

As a casual, I enjoy the game because I don't feel like i HAVE to do everything. As a casual, I enjoy the game because I don't measure my progress based on non-casual players. As a casual, I enjoy the game because I don't need "BiS" items.
I'm just totally OK with the fact that non-casual players can achieve more than me. There's tons of stuff for me to enjoy, without me being bummed out by the things I cannot do. I play a lot of tennis too, casually. I'm also totally fine with not being able to do everything Medvedev, Nadal and Dokovic do. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

I don't think casuals are supposed to kill Ubers. What I fail to understand is how enjoyment can be measured in chaos per hour if you don't enjoy the process of playing the game that awards you these orbs.

haha, really? How about you set proper goals first. Like running altars in t16 maps, something every casual is able to do with the right build. Then you go from there.

If you wanna call yourself a casual, stick to content that's available to casuals, i.e mapping. You can make a ton of money just running tier 16 maps with as much quant as you can manage with whatever league mechanic you fancy. You don't need sanctum or ubers for that. Ubers aren't casual content and they also aren't necessary for money making.

It's not ur problem, game is dying right now.
Shit meta, no more expansion, balance sucks deep. Defence bad af, if u dont use meta def of course |

"cant do ubers"
So crazy - they introduced ubers as aspirational content, and yet every single post about locked content also mentions ubers, which are literally designed to be one of the ultimate challenges the game throws at us. | |
Can always try expedition, blight, breach... like there is many ways to play that don't require a mirror tier build.
