Hardest most time consuming game of all time

I finally surrender, this game is too damn hard and is taking too much of my time. First game in my life i havent been able to beat all the bosses. After almost 3000 hours sadly I finally give up. I know there are builds that can one shot them but I wanted the challenge. I failed.

Sorry to see you go, perhaps just take a break and reevaluate things.
Yes, it is a game that can take up all of your time and more.....but only if you let it. Take care. 😹😹😹😹😹

Don't feel bad, I still can't beat Uber Maven. Mostly my fault - I can't be bothered to play the memory game and can't really play around lack of recovery. Thankfully, the rest of the game is not modelled around this crap

I serenely accept that there is content I will never beat. I consider it "bonus level" stuff for overachievers and for those who game trading for BIS gear as much as they do their builds. =^[.]^=

" I've come to the same conclusion. I've never been much of a bosskiller. I just do what I have to do to get my 4 voidstones, 12 favourite slots and atlas points from invitations and then I'm done bossing for the rest of the league. Never tried an über boss, but I know myself well enough to know that I would struggle with it, so I can't be bothered to try. Even though I can't do übers, there's still so much to do in the game, so it doesn't really bother me. I AM a little worried about POE 2 though, where bosses reset if you die. I think I could do some bosses without dying (think I've done shaper, sirus, über elder and eater of worlds without dying), but Maven and searing exarch? No chance in hell. I absolutely suck at the memory game and dodging fireballs. POE 2 will probably be too hard for me, so I'll stick to POE 1 as long as GGG keeps it running. | |

I've been able to beat them all in HC but not the Maven. I can't even kill her in SC, that memory game can go to hell. I just cant do the memory game in that last phase. I find exaech quite easy if you just run purity of fire and throw on a rise of the Phoenix and arctic Armour.
I've come very close, but I busy for me it takes a whole league to get a maven invite. I need a ton of practice but how when it takes quite a bit of time for an average guy who works full time to even get to her. "Getting the invites is fairly easy. At least if you or your build can handle it: 1) Get the Atlas passives for guardian & conqueror maps. 2) 'Destructive Play on Atlas' 3) Do map bosses with Maven witness, optimally map with multiple bosses. Beware corpse exploding bosses summoned by Maven in HC. 4) Pick up all the Invitations and guardian/conqueror maps that drop. 5) Do the Maven invitations for 4x guardian/elderslayer. Pick up 5 (not sure exact avg. number) Crescent splinters per invitation. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
