Hardest most time consuming game of all time
" I second this. I don't play that many games anymore, and I don't spend that much time on gaming as I used to. But the games I always end up playing, are always 200 hours+ games. Why is that? When I don't really game that much anymore? Well, because I want my experience to last. My PoE experience has lasted for a decade and I'm still not finished beating everything. And that's totally OK. It's almost like a "maybe next league, but probably not" attitude. We all know it's all about fun. Play the game they way you like, for as long as you like. When it stops being fun, find something else. It's not rocket science. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

If you can't beat content then you're playing the wrong build. Some of the most popular builds like Righteous fire and boneshatter are poor at bossing.

" I'm curious, what are you playing? I don't aim to play games that take 200 hours to beat, but Nioh/2 and ER took massive chunks of time and those are the games that I gravitate to, for everything except, ironically enough, the difficulty of them.
" Yeah, that's just it bro by the time I am strong enough to do that stuff the league is over. I don't play SC trade only HC and SSF. Takes a while I don't have a lot of time. Just accepted the fact this game is too difficult and time consuming for me, Thanks for the tips anyway. Last edited by Jradlot21 on Oct 27, 2023, 5:15:41 PM

" Well, RPGs are a favorite. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Divinity OS, Starfield, Cyberpunk (which today has to be one of the most underrated games in history), The Witcher series and so on; games that don't necessarily takes you ages to beat, but that throw so much content your way that you CAN sink hundred of hours into them. Needless to say, to me it's all about the journey, not the destination. If the journey is fun, it can last forever for all I care. The longer it lasts, the more fun I'll get, right? Hell, playing most of the games I mentioned, I actually slow down my pace to NOT finish them just to make them last. So all of this "I have to beat everything, finish everything within a certain amount of time" is foreign to me. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you. Last edited by Phrazz on Oct 27, 2023, 6:55:58 PM

" I don't want to tell u how to play the game or anything, but I understand where u're coming from. I was playing exlusively HC in PoE for a very long time. I think I started during the open Beta. The problem for me was, that the game became more and more time consuming over the years and with the introduction of certain Endgame bosses like Elder and Shaper I realized I just couldn't do it anymore with my time available. So back in Harvest I swapped to SC SSF and I never regret that decision. Sure sometimes I miss the feeling of HC, but in the end the game is still very fun even in SC. If u can get over the fact, that the thrill is missing, it's still better than quitting the game. Just something to think about. U can also do one league SC and the next HC to have some progress and then a challenge for the next time. Hell I still build most of my chars like HC chars, because I hate the feeling of dying, especially during bossfights^^
Where did the 3000 hours ago mate? Clearly not anywhere useful, because you apparently learned nothing in 3000 hours. That has to be a world record for sure. I don't know anyone who has done anything for 3000 hours and not learned anything. You are almost 1/3rd of the way towards being a master of nothing. It only takes 10,000 hours to master something, so keep going. I have faith you can do it.

This game is really just gearing, which I wouldnt call hard.
Time consuming, maybe, but its not even that. Focus on a money making atlas strategy, play 50 hours, you should be able to afford a build that handles ubers reasonably easily (like not close your eyes easy, but much easy than many skill based games).
