Mac Client - PoE Repeat Crashing - Macbook Pro M4 Max

Thanks! This one works for me!

I've posted this elsewhere, but let's see if it helps anyone else.

For me (and I can't remember who to credit for this tip, so apologies), enabling 'Do not disurb' as soon as I login has stopped by Steam-based PoE client from crashing - so far entirely (it's been 2 hours of playing now).

macOS 15.1.1, MacBook Pro M4 max (32 core GPU). All other graphics settings:
Render Resolution = No Upscale 3440 x 1387
VSync = Adaptive
Triple Buffering = Enabled
Foreground + Background FPS Cap = no enabled
Antialiasing Quality. = Low
Upscale Mode = NIS
Sharpness = 15%
Lighting = Shadows
Shadow Quality = High
Sun Shadow Quality = High
Number of Lights = Medium
Bloom = 100%
Depth of Field = Disabled
Water Level = High
Texture Quality = High
Texture Filtering = 2 x Anisotropic Filtering
Engine Mutithreading = Disabled (I can't seem to enable this for some reason).

If you don't know to enable 'Do not disturb"
Open chat in game. Type:
/dnd

Worth trying by others to see if it helps?
This actually works for me thank you.

/dnd mode has stopped the crashes for me.

I didn't change any of the display settings but the only time I crash now is if I forget to turn on Do Not Disturb as soon as I'm in the game.
this bug will be fixed one day ?

because no trade possible on macOs client is so bad :s
A month has already passed and this critical error is still not being fixed at all. M1 Pro and poe1 is stable crushing after 2-3 min. Big disappointed. Don't know what to expect from poe2
I have the same crash issue, I notice that ping to server is not available to choose another server in login view after this crash, maybe is something about to network stability or client connection issue.

Macbook M3.
Trying out one of the options to run Windows games on Mac from https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Path_of_Exile_on_Mac_using_Windows_Client
Same Problem on M1 Max

Hi There!

I am M2 Max, using crossover.
Installed steam, trough steam installed PoE1.
At first things runs good but there seems te be 'delay's in the game what makes my character and the surroundings frees. Sometimes it goes by and everything is played in 'speed mode' to get in sync again.

Yet when playing trough maps and this happens, I get back to the login page.
What makes is kinda not playable.

Any solutions for this?
Thanks in advance!
I found a thread last night that mentioned disabling DND in chat by typing /DND. After disabling that, I was able to play last night on an M4 Max without any issues.

I was receiving the same errors when playing through Steam, as well as the PoE launcher. Haven't tried the /DND trick on Steam as I deleted the download there, but playing through the launcher I was able to play without any stutters or crashes for at least an hour.
