Mac Client - PoE Repeat Crashing - Macbook Pro M4 Max
Does this have any ETA or even intention of getting fixed? /DND in NOT a solution.

Same Issue. Is there no ETA for the fix?
|
|
Same issue running a M4 Mac mini, tried both steam and stand alone client, both crash in under 3 minutes of gameplay.

Same error here on a brand new Mac Mini M4. 14 Crashes in the first hour. And a repeatable crash when selecting Hide Email in Options. Or if you click any of the "Language" flags in the upper left corner, to boot.

Apple has been selling them for 4+ YEARS now. A guy can dream... And /dnd worked to get around the crashes. Last edited by Ken_in_Vegas#5602 on Jan 25, 2025, 3:12:00 PM

" Basically the devs broke the game for macs in the latest update, you need to go to this guide: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Path_of_Exile_on_Mac_using_Windows_Client#System_Requirements And follow the instructions for the portingkit (PK setup). Put simply, you run the windows version (the one thats not broken) of POE on a mac. Your mac has to be running 14.0+ to do this. I had the same problem as well, and this fixed it for me. Minor problem of it crashing randomly but that has only happened to me two times in the past couple days. |
