Made a Guild last week and spent 140$ worth of MTX on it before finding out
NOTHING from guilds will transfer over to poe 2 .

I contacted support to try and remedy the situation, they refused, all I was asking to disband it and get my mtx back so I can apply it where I intended to.

Flat out refused, leaving me with the only recourse of doing a charge back .
Bank instantly refunded me , it is what is is. My account wasn't worth loosing 140$

Why on earth would you wait until last week to make a guild in poe1 then spend 140$ on it?
Like, what benefit was there compared to just waiting a couple days and doing it in poe2?

While indeed, anxiety took the best of him.. it is a case where GGG could take a pinch of common sense and MOVE that MTX to POE2 on request.
I was running my 11 year old through the game and teaching him it ,
and wanted an easy way to share items
So much drama already and the game isn't even out yet. What a good start for PoE 2...

I got confused and bought wrong pack (before EA ones hit) and got refunded by contacting support within a day or two I think, took a couple of days wasn't worth it I even lost value actually just didn't want to spend more at this stage, as I was going to buy EA pack. Anyway I guess each situation is different there must be some cutoff so I guess, a week seems to be getting there, depending on the whole anouncement, you drew the short straw this time I think you salvaged the shitty situation the best you could.
They could've easily helped you out with a refund/credit, but GGG isn't some small, consumer-friendly company that wants to make a positive impression on its supporters; they want your money, plain and simple.
wouldn't charge back, poe 1 is still a very attractive game.

when ggg implemented guilds i fought for years for them to change it so that guild tabs belong to the player, not the guild leader cause it's a ingame mtx transfer which ggg never really wanted.

situation was (is) so fucked up that guilds even demanded a donation or you got kicked.

ggg's solution? you can't get kicked for some time after you spent real money on your guild leaders acccount.

--

they simply could have mapped your guild tabs into the guild stash of your current guild and give you power over who can access them. no leaders, officers, seargants, beer carriers and other military crap copied from other games

they could still do it but it's probably alot of work to undo all the real money guild transfers.

age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
you literally was able to wait for a week till the game is out, then make the guild, they didnt clairify that guild stash will or wont be transfered to poe2 last interview, its ur mistake that you didnt have the patience to wait till EA release, you only have urself to blame for them not giving you ur money back
