My account is about to be banned.

I'm taking the ban because ,
ALL of those earlier packs were bought on Sony
and not transferring over to pc any ways.

So if we ignore the Sony purchases , this would be a fresh account and not worth
loosing 140 to guild buys.

What tabs did I buy?
ALL OF THEM plus a hideout.

I'm frustrated about this too, we got pretty clear messaging from GGG that PoE1 mtx transfers to PoE2 and suddenly we can not even ask support to do refund poe1 mtx for poe2 repurchase? Pretty weird to expect people to be like "ok" especially if you made recent guild purchases expecting them to follow their word.

It is too early to say you are not going to get it. It is just at the current time (before the release of early access).

People need to remember that this game is not launching for 6months to a year. They tried to get as much as they could into the early access release as they could. If the game was full launching tomorrow and you still didnt have it, then you would be in the right to be mad.

People need to stop treating this early access as it is a full game launch.
nope, its confirmed, Nothing from guild transfers over.

Hey there,

We have only stated that purchases made on your account would transfer over to Path of Exile 2 if applicable to that game. Guild purchases are not tied to a specific account, as they are tied to the guild itself.

I'm sorry that this is not the outcome you were hoping for. I'm afraid we aren't able to speculate as to whether past guild transactions will eventually become available in Path of Exile 2, as we aren't able to speculate on anything about Path of Exile 2 that hasn't already been announced.

Kind regards,
JC

If this is the case, we should be told so. But Jonathan said pretty definitely that it will not happen yesterday. and I quote "So because of the fact that guild is not stash tabs are not either and that is kinda unfortunate because i would want it to happen..." it is not policy decision, it is technical decision... Ziz:So we will have to buy stash tabs again right? Jonathan" yes and i wish that would not be the case, but it is unfortunately"

Which is bit different than the information we got to work with untill yesterday

I'm not like super angry about this situation and GGG did more than other devs would with transfering anything at all, other games would try to milk you completely with repurchases of everything, but I can see where OP comes from with his decision. If he for example based his decision on this reddit post from year ago which was the ONLY information we had untill yesterday he simple made informed but incorrect decision.

And if you can not see the point, it is not based on some factual basis.

Made a Guild last week and spent 140$ worth of MTX on it before finding out
NOTHING from guilds will transfer over to poe 2 .

I contacted support to try and remedy the situation, they refused, all I was asking to disband it and get my mtx back so I can apply it where I intended to.

Flat out refused, leaving me with the only recourse of doing a charge back .
Bank instantly refunded me , it is what is is. My account wasn't worth loosing 140$

Now Imagine if you found out like myself that your psn mtx won't xfer to your pc account. Pretty frustrating indeed. I feel your pain. Guild mtx not xfering makes 100% sense to me. PSN getting the shaft while all other platforms gain an unfair monetary advantage is just something that you'll never understand the pain of.

If pc players were told their mtx wouldn't xfer to poe 2 because they upgraded to a new pc they'd be livid and we'd never hear the end of it. Seems nobody cares for the psn community.
I charge back all the time in games. Probably won't get banned. Only company that bans in video games is Sony. But than everyone knows how greedy Sony is.

poe 2 is worth more than 140$ tho i also dont understand how can bank charge it back? you spent money and paid for the product and used it and you can just charge it back? doesnt make sense

Policy for most banks for most CC transactions is to side with customer and do a charge back if customer can give a valid enough reason. I have bad news for the guy though, as that's not the end of it and most banks then start talking to the other bank / vendor involved in the case and if GGG proves that the transaction was not only served from their end, but the user also used the goods provided, then the charge-back will be reverted, in fact this could be considered fraudulent behavior by some banks.

So careful there. As much as I disagree with GGGs stance (based on this very one sided account of what has happened), based on the admitted facts, something was bought for POE1, used for POE1 and then requested to be refunded or transferred to POE2.

Not knowing is no excuse here and expecting them to go out of their way to deal with fringe issues when they are already swamped by all those tripping on the hype train was just not a good idea. I'm sorry for the OP, but this one's on them mostly and they are lucky if their account is all they lose, as their bank can very well still decide to give GGG their money in the end.

They could've easily helped you out with a refund/credit, but GGG isn't some small, consumer-friendly company that wants to make a positive impression on its supporters; they want your money, plain and simple.

What a travesty... a company out there aiming to make a profit and not keen on refunding something that was bought and then used.

Yes, they want your money, plain and simple and yet, you can play their game for free (not the early access for POE2), so I guess they don't want it that hard after all.

When it comes to being consumer-friendly: I got shit refunded in the past when I bought something by mistake. Difference? I was not using it before I asked for a refund. So there goes that.

Cool, just keep in mind you can ask them how much it would cost to get your account out of remittance in case sony changes its policies or if you find out guild stuff does transfer over. They might not let you, but you can ask.
IGN : Reamus
Imagine buying something, using it, initiating a charge back through your bank and then openly advertising it on the forums. I swear, ever since the reveal stream we've had some real geniuses on these forums. Amazing.

I hope they ban you and your future accounts on sight.
