Can understand, but are you sure they aren't just gonna ban you as a person so every other account gets banned too?

Don't know GGGs stance in this, but when it's about money i can see them getting unhinged, eventually, good luck anyway!

I think it is their policy for chargebacks to ban any other account created by the individual. I remember seeing a post talking about how expensive and time consuming chargebacks are for them so they dont take the action lightly.

I made it pretty clear after multiple messages with support back and forth
that if they couldn't remedy the situation then Id be forced to do it on my end.
they explained that they would ban the account. Witch is fine , I'm not about to eat 140$ because they refused to help with a fix.

if youre lucky they just ban the account and not your credit card and ip address

Banks do it to protect their customers. Usually there's a process to verify that the merchant cannot/do not help. Obviously merchants do not tolerate it so that's why he said he'll get banned.

why didnt you ask support if guilds will transfer over?
before spending the money , you went and bought something in a game.
you got it , and then you go behind GGG back , and take back the money.

I was almost in the same boat as OP because Im a guild leader in another game and Im bringing over friends so I was gonna buy all the guild tabs in PoE1 then transfer them to PoE2 BECAUSE GGG said that microtransactions would carry over! Glad I dodged that bullet and to me this is a BIG fail on their part pushing back the game so MTX could get sorted then not doing it for GUILDS?!!! They really lean too hard on the SOLO player experience and this shows it right in the wallet!
