If you think about it realistically. you being able to remove talent points alone is a huge gift. I think they should stead fast on not allowing this. Because it goes against the very nature of "Ascending". If you "Ascend" to something there would have to be a Very difficult process to change this. You are a wrongfully exiled peasant so fights even to gain what there is left to have in this world. Therefor if you pick a path of Ascension there should be no reversing this. But, if they did allow you to change it honestly you should have to start from level 1 or have to do some crazy "rehabilitation" process. Your very being as a character has changed via ascension. This is like religion or politics. the only reason you want to be able to change it is so you don't have to experience the game again. For which I say shame on you. It is a master piece in its entirety. alas I would want to as well so as to save myself time but its just too defining to allow you to just go "oopsies" here's like 5k gold. Surly that is why its like this already. Keep up the good work GGG you're giving us what we didn't know we needed, Consequences for our actions.

I wanted to see how far i could get by making my own build. After getting stuck around lvl 10 maps i decided to try another build. The new build is really cool, but it turns out the ascendency i took is bs. Now my 200 hour lvl 85 char is stuck on a path that sucks. Pllleaaasee change this like tomorrow, all i wanna do is wake up and see that i can now change ascendency and that i dont have to go through pretty much the same grind i just did for the past two weeks. |
