Ascendancy respec suggestion for PoE 2

+1

Literally 10 mins ago started to google how to change Ascendancy in PoE2. Devastated to learn I can't.

Changed my mind on this build while leveling, 40% from 78 which makes me able to put all my gear on and change my tree for this build, only to learn I have to start over.

This game is way less respectful of my time vs the previous WITHOUT this lack of flexibility. I have to manage two kids and a full time job. Holidays are over so there goes all my actual grind time. Back to Diablo II I go? Maybe original Diablo. Less brutal overall.

I am playing casually and I play without reading guides, making decisions on the go what feels natural - just like I did in PoE I. But I choose Blood Mage for my Witch which was incredible stupid and I lost any motivation to continue because I can't respec my ascendency. I would even pay actual money for it!

Or just remove ascendancies. They aren't really ascendancies and have nothing to do with the build, class or ascendancy itself.

So, why call them "ascendancies" anyway?

They are just lazy content thrown in there like so many other things in POE 2 as a roadblock to progress.

Lazy development.

Yes I have to agree. You have a game in early access, that's going to get frequent nerfs and buffs, that doesn't even have all the ascendancy available. With lots of new players like myself who have no idea what they are doing, trying to learn and experiment.

Then you literally lock a character on a set path with no way to change. It's ridiculous to be honest. Having to start over after many hours of work just to try something new. When it might even turn out to be worse off then you've just wasted your time.

Some of us don't have endless time to keep making new characters to experiment.

I get you have some people that have 6 characters all past level 80 already, well that's not most of us.
