" I am OK without Grim Feast. Temporal chain says -10% instead of +2% effect without heightened curse but still 40% slow. Not sure if it becomes 30% instead. Anyway, working on my new tree. I am not sure if Roil is worth it with Spark set up. It takes quite a lot of point to go there. What do you think? |

" " Friendly advice here. Do more tests by yourself to check what is good or not for you personally. If you think Roil isn't worth it - just refund it and run some maps. Unlike me, you might not notice any difference. The same goes for literally everything else. If smth feels wrong - you will notice it. If not - it's fine then. I mean, you don't have to run a 100% copy of my build. It's based on my personal preferences that won't click with everyone. Don't be afraid of experiments. It's fun, and you might find something better for you. ~~~~ Done with nagging (sorry about that), back to business: Roil ring is 46% increased AoE, and it's damn huge. I mentioned Blasphemy, so the difference I noticed is about incoming projectiles and leap slam attacks. I just get fewer hits this way. And I prefer more AoE in Frost Wall, since Spark isn't the only thing I'm using. I got used to Frost Wall too much to ditch it out. |

" I didn’t know roil applies to blasphemy also. And I am surprised to here that blasphemy affect projectile. I got another death today. Projectile are the hard part for me. I was feeling invincible and pushed a map to the limit 200% extra fire damage elemental weakness…. 300% waypoint + 3 distils to get extra rare monsters and 60% delirium. I didn’t last long. I feel grim isn’t useful anymore for me. For easy content, I don’t need. For hard map/ simulacrum, my shield is small and always 0. I think you are right and having 6k mana and more fire power would be better than 4K mana and 2k shield. 6K mana without dream fragment might be hard though |

" Another take is to remove CI, actually. Before removing CI i was on the mindset that i just needed more mana and to better manage my abilities, but that would still inevitably lead to me getting 1 tapped when i spent all my mana. I just never like ES because it requires grimfeast support and investing a bit of nodes into it. Finally realized that having just mana as defensive layer isnt a good thing, and transitioned into chaos res gear. Now despite having slightly less mana, I have higher EHP overall due to having 1.5k hp + 5k mana and is more than enough to tackle the most difficult content. I almost never die aside from doing dumb shit like walking into several on-death effects. The bonus cherry on top is that chaos gear is damn cheap compared to the int-related counterparts. |

" It doesn't slow projectiles, it slow monsters that shoot. With more AoE you will slow them before they shoot. |

Currently rocking this build and so far it's a blast. I'm currently on a budget side of the build, but I did manage to get maligaro's.
Which in turn makes spark (even despite lvl 19, as I don't have a wand or amulet for level to all spells) 1 - 2 shot frost wall icicle. Very happy, as it saves quite a few nodes and lets me run double breach ring. Thanks for the build! |

Running this build several days in the endgame after the campaign.I never had such fun in the game befote that all Freeze build.
So what do I have now. I got cheap 4-socket Regalia, 280%, 10% all res, +10 spirit per socket. Sockets filled with Iron Runes. Dunked much on spirit with Omen Sceptre. Everlasting Gaze, that damn gloves with 300% CDMG bonus. Passive tree is the same from leveling guide but with several tweaks on it. More ES, more mana.Eternal Youth ( :( ) Also got the Jewel that have increased Energy gain for each notable in radius. Cast on Critical with Comet and Lightning Conduit but! Also alongside with Cast on Freeze with the same set of skills. xD Frostbolt, Eye of Winter, Frost Wall and... Still the Frost Bomb. So here is the problem. Inconsistency. I feel like outside of Frost Bomb, nothing have enough damage to destroy my Frost Wall where sometime I could get stuck badly. So the mapping, killing trash is hella weird. Bosses is another story but, the Trialmaster showed that I have severely not enough damage to impress the dude.In comparison the trial bosses took me few seconds to delete them. Even Tornado Bird. Also I have like 50-ish Crit and I still feel that uptime for CoC is weird so thats why Cast on Freeze is running alongside it Since I started to farm ultimatums I can afford more and faster now. I need to get that Snakepit Ring as I understand to upgrade my Frostbolt. Also I didnt used that Minion Offering yet. My goal rn is to make mapping comfortable and kill the damn Trialmaster faster (not 4th ascended yet still). " Sounds like you are too low on mana. All-res + Spirit Morior is weak af, you are missing a crapload of damage. You can choose either res OR spirit, but maximum mana per rune/core is a must. Have you watched my low-budget vid? 31. Low-budget video compilation from maps to Pinnacles: https://youtu.be/ISKDUsl7_m8 It starts at the end of the lvling guide build, and has big switch w/gearing from 05:00. Trialmaster and Xesht are there too. Frostbolt with Snakepit is enough to break the walls with 3.3k mana. You don't really need Lightning Conduit, it was my gimmick I played with for a couple of days and ditched it. Basically, past lvl 75 upgrading should match early-game (low-budget)->late-game (medium-budget)->end-game (expensive) gear/skills/trees on maxroll. ~~~~ Well, whatever. Have fun =) |
