Cold Chronomancer Megathread. All content cleared. Leveling guide added. Low-budget build added.
" Trampletoe is great with frost wall. My struggle with it was with survivability. Adding another unique and losing more ES/resists wasn't something I could deal with. Would need to rework my build more but damage was great. Trampletoe is strong enough on its own that you drop comet and destroy everything that isn't simulacrum. |

Do you really need 'Debuffs you inflict have X% increased slow magnitude' necessary for the Maligaro's? Price seems to overrocket with that corrupted affix.

" Seems like it's not needed unless people just wanted to try something different. As of right now COC comets + frostwall already do 15million+ damage per second to pinnacle bosses and they are time forzen/actualy frozen while we do it. |

" I'm not running that, it's just for extra survivability. Without it you slow mobs for 50%+ depending on your tree. I was at 60% slow but I changed my passive tree so now I'm only getting around 50% slow, having no issues at all. Last edited by valqor#0701 on Jan 29, 2025, 3:05:20 PM

" Thank you for that video, I guess I wasn't able to properly see why you were saying to use bludgeon with frostwalls while you were doing frost bolt because I couldn't really tell what was going on. That spark video really allowed me to see exactly what you were doing and as a result I finally completed the simulacrum. Throwing the frostwall right in front of the enemies spawn points and knocking them back with bludgeon was HUGE! Very smart move! I was beating my head against the wall trying to complete that damn content with this build. |

I wonder about lingering illusion and heartbound loop interaction.
tried looking at mana remnants again. 2s interval on critting a shocked enemy, is not a cooldown. so we can't bypass it. it is still a decent chunk of mana. a flat amount, that is not reduced by mom rate. but every 2s is rough. and it doesn't really carry over in the same way grim feast does. since you are constantly casting, and thus eating away at any over charge. mana restore while mapping is pretty solid though. There might be some mind over matter build were you use mana remnants to over charge mana. but, then lifetap spellcasting to use life to cast. but of course, mana costs so high, not sure how to make that viable. " I'm using Mana remnant, but I have enough spirit to not have to drop anything for it. Running almost 6k mana and no ES, there a few times that running over mana on the ground can be nice for some slight increase in survivability. |

Thanks all for the content. I chose chrono to be different that the majority of people but I am struggling with breaches now and it is where I would like to focus my efforts.
Is there a way to tune the build to go through breaches faster? |

" Moink or someone else might have a different take, but I don’t think Frostbolt + Frost Wall is the best combo for breaches in their normal state. If you kill Xesht and pick up the Sustained Siege Atlas passive, it makes breaches a lot more manageable and helps you get more out of them. That’s what I did until I switched to Spark, and now I don’t need that Atlas point anymore. But I didn’t remove it right away. To get Spark’s damage high enough to justify removing the point (in my opinion), you’ll need to ramp up its damage to at least 40k(or maybe higher) sheet DPS. Until then, I’d suggest keeping the Sustained Siege point. However this is all subjective, do what feels good. :) |

Right now, I am struggling so much in breach that I get 1 or 2 breach fragment per breach at best.
I want to farm them to get a breach stone. Would you suggest to run wall + frostbolt until I get the atlas running and shift after to wall + spark. Getting 40k DPS with Spark will not be easy |
