No, as it should not be ON US to solve this problem!

So id say the first 2 weeks of playing the only issue i got was a few CTD's which while annoying didnt really impact my play experience.

However id say in last week ive had 3 hard crashes, 2 in last 24 hours. Its very random cause i can play for hours with nothing happening then out of the blue it happens.

Im very reluctant to play now - im on Win10 so im guessing it doesnt matter what OS you are using. Its annoying but i suppose maybe taking a break and hopefully the devs can sort something out in the new year.

PoEUncrasher isn't a 100% workaround. It worked for me for a few days, but the problem has returned. Yes, I'm running the latest version and with admin perms.

yes im trying now realtime priority + disabling core 0 + 1 as recommanded

People, i think i found solution at the moment

I tried everything. Nothing works to be honest, to avoid game freezing
Of course, You can use coligation to avoid total freezes but game still can freeze

I realized that the bug rely on threads schedule nad maybe there is a problem so ... i turned OFF SMT (on AMD) in UEFI. Right now - i have raw 8 cores/8 threads (instead of 8/16) but ... game dont have any problems anymore. Works fine, without freezing from 2 days

On Intel - it is called HT as i remember.

Try to turn off and see if will helps You

btw. - "turning off" SMT on process Lasso doesnt work, You need to disable it by hardware, in UEFI

Sorry bro already tested this - not working (7800X3D).

Struggled since day one to be able to play the game.

Played the game with lots of workarounds for about 60 hours.

Realized the game actually sucks. (check out feedback forum)

Stopped playing it.

THAT is the true fix for crashing.

I understand that is not helpful for the determined type, but trust me, the struggle is not worth it. The cake is a lie.

I think you are missing the point.

PoEUncrasher is a third party program. People shouldn't have to be use a third party program to play a game they have paid (at minimum) 30$ for.

GGG should have put a warning on steam, and on here about NOT playing the game if you have encountered this "bug". Because it is harmful.

The reason why most people are here is to receive a FORMAL AND OFFICIAL response from GGG.

A single misleading sentence at Known Issues is not communication.

Asking for dxdiags and not checking them is not communication.

Asking for DMs when people who haven't managed to play the game until ACT 1's end or reach level 25 cannot DM is not communication.

And again, all PoEUncrasher does is crippling your PC for PoE2 so that it can survive against PoE2's all-mighty freezing ability. It doesn't fix the game's problem, it only makes it so that your PC survives when it eventually encounters the problem.

And once again. Is the creator of PoEUncrasher getting paid for his wonderful app? NO. They created a workaround for a problem GGG cannot fix for FREE, if GGG does not have any money left to pay for this great service I say fire some developers from GGG and pay the creator of PoEUncrasher instead. What are your thoughts about this?

Doesn’t work. Crashed the whole pc with SMT off in the BiOS
