Hard crashing PC locks up

Yeah I'm gonna leave a negative review on steam as well....it's justified

As soon as it first started happening shortly after the 24h2 I have never played it since. Built brand new rig every zone would hard freeze into complete power off.. cycle wasn’t worth it after 5-10.. had a sour taste about this game after that experience. Will come back when it’s fixed on all sides. Really disappointed with the lack of communication, I get it it’s the holiday new year is right around the corner but I don’t think people need like full daily updates but it would be nice to have GGG start to explain what’s going on what they are seeing and the roadmap for what to expect bad or good. Seeing this thread on the first page is my coping mechanism.

I encourage anyone that suffers from this crash to leave a negative review on Steam until it's fixed.

Don't expect them to say anything about this until the 6th of January. They will likely be off through new year's week. Makes it even worse.

I think they just released at the wrong time. Given the initial delay in release of EA you'd think they'd have focused on making the game stable. Still that just gives everyone more of a valid reason to complain that they haven't even graced us with a response about this.

My guess is that they will directly address it after the coming Nvidia update in January and maybe a Windows update as well. People without Nvidia cards and without Windows are also experiencing this, so it's not doubt something that GGG needs to fix. Once again, instead of fixing it immediately, or telling us it can't be fixed until such and such a date, they've opted to do and say literally nothing.

I hope they at least address us in January. I do not have any faith in their ability to even fix it at this point.

I also think they should add a centipede themed boss into their game that is representative of this bug. And it's unkillable. And it crashes through walls like the Kool-Aid man and eats you spontaneously like the Butcher from D4. A game that is total dogshit but doesn't crash. You have to TP back to town as soon as you see it to get it to go away and pray your PC doesn't freeze. It'd be super immersive. Also GGG should constantly apply trivial adjustments to it's health and damage even though it's invincible and just not tell anybody about it ever.

According to leaked info from the one famous 4resource ;), the delay was due to the fact that their supporter pack was not ready. If you're interested in more data let me know.

Hi, for the last 3 days i had the similar problem here, already played from the first release day to nearw last 3 days without any problem, but them , the entire pc freeeze at any loading screen.

Here i belive having a good computer for this game too: RTX 3070, 32Gb ram and Rizen 5800X

Iv tried change render mode to vulkan then back to direct X, tried clear all temporary files, shader files, reinstal the game, up date windows and vga drivers and nothing, the problem persist, for now, my character are lock at the Apex of filth, and if a tried open portal, use a teleport or even trying to play for at least 10 seconds the entire pc freeze, and i need manualy restart.

Everyone here complaining about no communication even after being explicitly told last patch notes that the team is taking a vacation until first week of new year.

I get its a game, a game that you all paid for but you also paid into an early access game. Combine that with the fact that every human deserves time off, especially around Christmas and New years and well you don't have anything to complain about regarding communication. They told you its high priority, and they told you when they're back in office so just wait lol.

Negative review it all you want, complain all you want about it not working because yes, it isn't working but damn lmao you're making it sound like they've left you for dead out of seemingly nowhere
