" It's NOT new hotfix. It's hotfix for older version and there is no new January version released. Read the topic. |

" Yes i know that. only mentioned because theres dozens of people still recommending it. It does not even have any fix related to Poe on this update. Last edited by drx#8804 on Jan 3, 2025, 8:19:41 AM

" Nvidia GeForce Graphics Driver 566.46 Edit: my mistake. That release was pulled. It's 566.45 like you said. Might be PoE2 in next release. I still disagree with you because the person you replied to did read the topic. PoE2: A good, giving game Last edited by interbeing#5112 on Jan 3, 2025, 9:33:51 AM

" Nice feeling, indeed, hahahaha! AHAHAHAHAHA!!! To be serious. You don't hurt server's hardware, your game is running in virtualized environment. At the worst scenario, the virtual machine crashes, not the entire server / node. |

GGG still on Holiday?

I can't help but think this is more of a major issue than even we think it is.
I work in development and know that when major changes are pushed into commit and they are not properly QA'd before merging the changes to the main branch, end users always experience issues. I feel like there is a major loop or bug causing CPUs to use more power than intended. At this point, with the major lack of communication, they are most likely internally pointing fingers, and figuring out how they are going to spin this so they save face. I'm expecting a short line in a patch: "fixed a crash related to different hardware configurations" and thats it. That way they don't have to admit they royally screwed up, and just call it a bug fix in an obscure line in a patch. This is literally the opposite of what the community has come to expect from GGG in terms of communication. |

" I see what you did there, hehe. The problem with your argument though is that it is wrong, lacking in detail and not entirely accurate. PoE2: A good, giving game

" Explain? I'm not familiar with NVIDIA GeForce Now internals but I assume if it's cloud based, the architecture must be similar (or close) to the "regular" clouds. With docker, containers, etc. Just, in this context the guy is happy as he thinks he damages someone's hardware. I have strong feeling that is not true in case of cloud-based computing from NVIDIA. " Education is vital in this modern information age-era of time. https://www.gdcvault.com/play/1022406 This is as good an explanation of the architecture as there may be publicly available, jokes aside. It's fascinating to anyone who might be interested in such things. I don't know of an updated presentation for GeForce Now but it probably hasn't changed too much.
