Hard crashing PC locks up

Please for the love of god disable multithreading when loading levels / teleporting anywhere.
That should prevent these crashes from occurring for now for the bulk of the users.
Crashing only occurs during map loading for me.
Incredibly annoying and need to hard reset multiple times during a play session.
I know that may be considered a band-aid solution, but it should help thousands of people trying to play the game.

Interesting. I finished the game(2 difficulties) around xmas and because of the constant crashes and It was apparent they are on leave and will not fix it I quit. Yesterday wanted to check and continue end-game but here we are again and I can't believe they did not fix such a serious issue by now.
This has much higher priority than any stupid balance changes or whatever they are doing.
But googling about POE freezes a month ago it seems like this has never been fixed in POE1 completely ...

Can't believe you can grab hundreds of millions and not fix this.

GGG if you are really clueless here are my amateur tips:
1. If you cannot reproduce the issue, buy 10pcs of different components, most people I see are mentioning x3d chips, but not limited to them.
2. Enable some logging in your engine
3. There you go ... within 1-2 days you should know what the stupid game is doing before hard locking the whole PC.
4. Ask some LLM how to fix that.

its getting to the point where I'm considering just getting a refund for this and going to play D4 or last epoch cause this has been an issue far longer then I thought it was and I'm tired of waiting to play the game.

that's not even trying to shit on the game because from what I have played I really enjoyed it but not being able to enjoy something I have paid for over a month is just really sad to see especially when they are pushing out updates and fixes that barely affect anyone or balance changes that would only be noticed by people with over 100 hour meta gaming the system while we cant even get past the log in screen in some cases is just really upsetting to see.

if this was just some small issue barely affecting anyone then I could understand the wait for a fix but after 850 pages long combined worth of people complaining about it there should be more communication from the devs on this matter and not just some 'we assure you we still know of the problem please wait longer'.

I had never played POE before, I bought POE2 because I really liked what I saw in the early access advertisements.

Now that I'm playing, I realize that I wasted my money because the game crashes 2-4 times an hour, in which I have to force restart the computer.

I'm really very angry about this situation, because I paid for a game that I can't play.

GGG must resolve this soon, otherwise it will be another failed game.

I enjoyed PoE a lot back when it only had 3 acts. I like PoE2 even more. Paid 2500 euro for a new computer just to be able to play it. I stopped forcing restarts, stopped playing altogether when 2 of my friends psu died a couple of weeks back.

I dont expect miracles. I dont expect a fix overnight. But to see them release all their patch plans without even adressing it properly makes me so dissapointed. Watching through every step of that video and all the great plans they have. Everything they want to add sounds great but it leaves me with a bad taste. Every single thing in the upcoming patch made me think "this would be great, if only the game was playable."

IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT OR HAVE AN IDEA OF WHEN IT WILL BE FIXED THEN TELL US SO. GIVE THOSE WHO WANT REFUNDS NO MATTER THEIR TIME PLAYED.

early access or not. this is simply unacceptable.
