Hard crashing PC locks up

bumppage, anyone know if the newest 500mb patch fixed anything? i'm not booting the shit to find out so if someone else already has please let me know.

Each patch seems to make it worse
seems like this patch made it worse. Now, I can't get into the game. |

LMFAO you guys JUST released a patch to diagnose this? we are going to get a fix on 2027, I was like "maybe they finally fixed it", nah. At this point I am done with the season, just like another 430k people man...

I kid you not:
Patch has added a detection function for further logging of this crash BUT ONLY FOR DX12. They still do not accept that this crash happens on DX11 and Vulcan too, they still do not want to accept that their own engine is at fault... They want your PC to be their test device. Why would GGG risk their own hardware when we -the paying customers- can do it? Just run the game and crash a lot and brick your PC... Guess that's why they haven't been adding the workarounds in... Dear GGG, Enough is enough. We-as paying customers- have the right to know: 1) What went wrong? 2) What you are doing to fix it? 3) What possible causes have you eliminated as the source of the problem? 4) What triggers have you discovered that starts the resource hog loop other than "zone change"? (This one is really important because it allows players to create workarounds) 5) What is your estimated time of fix? 6) How did this sort of bug managed to avoid detection in your testing period? 7) What you will be doing to compensate players that have been affected by this issue? 8) Whether refunds would be made available for those that are no longer interested in playing the game? To other paying customers like me who have spent their money on this faulty product: As long as GGG is not interested in open communication our only other option is to increase the pressure and warn others by giving a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. |

Added a new client command line option which sends us additional debug information (API markers, NVIDIA Nsight Aftermath, and DRED) from DirectX 12 client crashes. If you're experiencing a large number of crashes and using DirectX 12, then temporarily enabling this will assist us in identifying the cause. This can be enabled by adding "--ex-crash-report" to your Path of Exile 2 command line arguments/launch options. Go go go time to spam GGG with crash reports! late but better than nothing, plz ggg focus on report u will receive! does the.exe sending last crash report too? cause i had hard crash early EA and now using poeuncrasher(could be nice to if you can get logs hen poeuncrashe uninstable) or integrated poeuncrasher in your code with a launch option too Last edited by xweyn#6388 on Jan 23, 2025, 6:46:09 PM

So it took them 2 months to enable reporting for this, and only for directx12?
Why would anyone even play this game when it hard crashes at this point? GGG wants you to brick your computer to fix their problem?? Okay seriously where do I get a refund on stash tabs for this dogshit? |
