Hard crashing PC locks up

And its not the only thread on this topic either lol

Sunday recap:
Played the whole day, no more freezes!
B4 you try something weird, just try what I did and posted a few times:
Go to game folder, right klick .exe, go to details, and set to “windows 7 compatibility” mode…

Hope this works for you too!

If your game is crashing after creating a new character, and/or entering new zones--
Check your event viewer for 'Event ID 10010':
The server Windows.Gaming.GameBar.PresenceServer.Internal.PresenceWriter did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

If you have this error--
1) Open Start Menu
>> Type "Game Bar"
>> Right click
>> Go to Settings
2) 'Terminate'

This solved the issue of my PC turning off at every new zone or new character made.

What cpu you running. That didn't work for me. Thinking of updating back to 24H2 and trying it in win 7 compatibility

pc still hard crashing after the recent hotfix

Somebody having the same freezing the whole pc issue but with added blue screen if I wait for a minute or so and not shutting down the pc from the button? Cpu spikes at 100% utility at every loading screen as well but when actually playing the game is fine.

blue screen error code: "Driver power state failure"

latest bios
ryzen 7 7700
rtx 4070 ti super latest drivers
windows 11 pro 24H2

Is anyone here on windows 10 and crashing? x3d chips and windows 10. I'm really about to just format my drive and start over. I want to play the game and if its really windows 11 fault then screw it ill buy a w10 key. I just dont want to go backwards if its still going to afflict my hardware.

Plenty of people on various versions of Windows 10 have reported the same issue. Definitely don't spend money on a different copy of your OS to play a version of a beta client... just wait for an update.

I am curious, however, as to why all the streamers haven't run into this issue? Is there like a magic set of hardware that's immune to this problem? From other posts on this forum I've read this has been an issue in PoE 1 as well... so maybe people have been experimenting with hardware since and found like a magic bullet?

Or none of that could be true, because I have no way of verifying anything from where I sit, and GGG are essentially silent. I seriously second the request for a 'PSA' from GGG as to what they think could be happening. If the problem really has spanned across two games maybe they should give us some concrete confirmation and what hardware would offer more stability.

I've only started having this issue as I hit the end of A3 Cruel and into maps. It's so bad now, I can't even make it 10 seconds into a map before a full BSOD.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 (Driver 566.36 (most recent))

I crash on pretty much every boss. Game freezes and i get something like "unable to load texture" and game closes.

Also affected. Intel core i5 iirc, RTX 2070, only had three crashes in maybe ten hours but after the third one I'm unable to reboot. Attempting to restore from backup now. Pray for me.
