POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I've been experiencing the pc hard freezing and only being able to hard reset to fix it,

Win 11 24h2
7800x3d
4080 super
32gb 6000mhz


I disabled core 0 and core 1 and it "fixes" the hard crashing and only crashing the game, Not a fix but i'd strongly suggest you do that to avoid having to hard restart your pc,

This is a MAJOR bug and should be focused ASAP, last thing you want is peoples pc's bricking, Please continue to post solutions (please GGG communicate with us!)

Bro, they are on vacation sipping on piña coladas while they’re paying customer’s PCs hard crash and suffer damage.

Maybe they will take a look at it in a month or maybe not since all the people with this issue will have dead hard drives from hard resetting too many times.

I think I got disconnected 30 times today. WHile my internet is working fine outside of the game (Japan server).
Just now got a freeze at 3rd ascendancy trial boss and disconnect (ofc, it removed me from the trial).

However, the technical performance of your game is horrible. My pc (cpu: 7800x3d, gpu: 4070ti super, 64gb ram). I have tried all the various fixes including a clean windows install. Nothing helps:

I have:

- continuous lag spikes/stuttering
- game and pc freezes often and requires a hard reboot of pc

I hope you will fix the game. I do not have any issues with other games I play. And I have these issues both in win11 23h2 and 24h2.

I am actually considering playing on my +10 year old i5, 2080rtx pc as it can only be better.

Further, I wish you would actually adress the issue instead of hiding.

Make sure to review the game appropriately on steam until this issue is addressed.

Sadly they already have the bag, they don't care anymore :(

Rollbacks don't solve anything. I am on Win 10. I crash. I am not sure but from the people I've talked to I've managed to pinpoint why rollback placebo happens:

You get the same benefits of clearing the entire cache. Which actually do delay the time between crashes.

I am not sure about this explanation though because I haven't tried it myself.

My friend who has a netcafe has this problem on some of their machines. It drives them crazy because these PCs are literally the same: Built with same pieces, at the same time, using the same OS, in the same place. The only thing we know is that the electrical outlet is not the problem's source because their own PC had this problem so they swapped in a working PC with theirs, and it worked.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.

I got Win 11 24H2 build and my games 2 or 3 times per 1 teleport freezed my pc to hard reset button.

But I found one solution and now my game is not freezing whole PC and i think maps loading faster.

Windows -> Settings System -> Display -> Graphics ->
1. Disable HDR mode
2. Disable Optimalization for Windowed Games (I'm playing on windowed mode)

This is not a Win 11 issue. If you had read the thread, you would have known this. The thread is filled with the exact same info you provided with people stating it does not work.
