POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

A small update:
Swiching von DX 12 to Vulcan did NOT solve the problem. It is not very common any more, but still a thing...
I kinda don't want to say it, but most of the time this happended was when twitch was runnin on the 2nd screen. I stop watching for now to see if it makes any difference.

I rolled back to 23H2 last week and haven't had a single freeze yet. I'm 100% convinced the problem is from the latest windows version. Anyone who says that 23H2 doesn't work for them is likely experiencing a different issue than what this thread is about.

It's not, there's a guy here who has freezes on Nobara Linux distro, and at least one more Linux that didn't say the distro he was using.
Pc completamente congelada en tiempos de carga.

Componentes:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
GPU: RTX 4090
RAM: 64.0 GB
NV.2: EVO 980 PRO

Soluciones alternativas:

PoE Loading Screen Crash Fixer(no lo he probado)
BES – Battle Encoder Shirasé (limitando el proceso a -5% funciona perfectamente)
POSSIBLE FIX

So I found this idea online somewhere and so far it has been working great. Navigate to the Steam folder where POE2 is installed. Should look like:

Drive Letter\Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2

Find the PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe file and right click. Go to Properties. Go to Compatability tab. Check box run as Admin and Check box run in compatability mode for Windows 8. Hit Apply and OK.

Haven't had one crash yet since this change. Hopefully it works for you all. Best of luck!

somewhat it got worse, it hard crashed my pc now twice in a row, needed to manual reboot twice, i wont be playing anymore thats it, wont risk bricking my pc.

doesnt make sense, because when you open the game, the process is PathOfExileSteam.exe, not PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe.
Idk if someone already mentioned this but i recently been alttabing out every time i load into a new map and that seems to work for me. I haven't crashed/freeze ever since i did this. i use to turn off multi threading when loading into maps but this works so far.

So many report that they have no more crashes at loading screens or even freezes.

Over 700 Downloads on Nexus Mods already.

Simply download > extract > start exe > star POE 2.
= No more crashes. And you can enjoy it with full multi-threading.

My setup:
Ryzen 7500f
RTX 4070s
32gb ram
Win 11 24h2

Had the same issue like the rest of people here - complete PC freezes that required manual PC reset. I tried the solution that someone posted with special .bat file and that helped with complete freezes, but I still had a lot of POE crashes.

What helped me was to go back to Win 10 (I couldn't go back to Win 11 23h2 to test, so not sure if that helps). Since rerolling to Win 10 I ran probably 50-60 maps and I had 0 crashes or PC freezes. I know that this is not a doable solution for all of you, but it's pretty clear that there is a big issues bewtween POE2 and Win 11 24h2 version and I'm pretty sure that it won't be solved quickly.
