POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

"
Exactly the same crash in Baldur's Gate 3 while loading save, also worth the 24H2 update

The problem is it's not just related to 24H2, it happens on 23H2, it happens on windows 10, it happens with different configurations, intel and AMD.

Giving them slack because of vacation is not an excuse for a faulty product. People paid money to access this game, and to have such an egregious bug / error in your code and not even say a single thing about it... literally 0 communication is what is troubling.

Even a "hey, if you are experiencing this bug, please refrain from attempting to play the game, we are working on a fix and plan to roll it out in the next <insert time here> days."

I'd have more respect for them if they communicated, even if it was in their view an admission of them messing up.

This isn't something that is the player's fault. Its not even Microsoft's fault with their 24H2 update. Its squarely GGG's fault for designing the game the way they did. Its their code and assets conflicting with people's machines causing the temps to rise and CPU usage go up to 100%. There is a broken process or loop in the code.
Yeah I got to run this app to ensure the game doesn't lock my pc down. But it will take me about 10 to 15 times crash after crash to get into the game. Then once in no clue how long I have before going to one map or the next if the game will just crash on me. Its just gotten worse and worse the past week, its not the update I did it in the old update and the new one and here I am same issue. I just wish they would talk to us and let us know something that's all I ask. I spend money to support them because they have always been so open but its been radio silent and they been back to work for a week now.

Well done, GGG for addressing the issue and fixing it :) 4 weeks and counting ... You must be so proud. Again, fast reaction and overwhelmingly good customer service. Next time before you start selling EA game probably is a good idea to test it against crashes at least. Amazing experience. :)

Most of that has been christmas break so cut them a bit of slack - if they haven't responded in the next week or two, I'd say you've got a point.

No he has a point and they should not get any slack. If they choose to take TWO WEEKS Christmas holidays over fixing the crashes in the game THEY CHOSE to launch right before Christmas then they absolutely can and should be criticised for those bad decisions. Your take is bad
BTW, i use below command in a bat file to start game to avoid total unresponable in windows 11
"
start /AFFINITY ffc /D C:\"Program Files (x86)"\"Grinding Gear Games"\"Path of Exile 2" C:\"Program Files (x86)"\"Grinding Gear Games"\"Path of Exile 2"\PathOfExile.exe

the ffc is the 0,1 cpu not assign to game for run while i have 12 core cpu.
Any news on this critical issue now that they're back in the office?
How long, GGG? :( . Superbad exp for now. I cant play 4 times in one night with freeze. So, are winter outside not enough?

Giving them slack because of vacation is not an excuse for a faulty product.

And how are they expected to fix the bug in Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and in some other UE5 games?

They already made a statement. If there is no more info to publish, what are you expecting?

Sure, GGG developed Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. And Space Engine too. My CPU is able to work at 100% load, if your can't feel free to trash it. (It has nothing to load). You completely don't understand the things you're talking about lacking very basic knowledge.

Perhaps if you were talking about a full release, you might have a point but as it stands, you and I bought in to play a 0 day version of an early access game that we knew had christmas and an obviously pause on development coming up. It's bad luck but it shouldn't come as a surprise that nothing has happened.. yet.

In a few weeks, I'm on board with your removal of slack.
hi GGG please make this issue your top priority as we cant play happily wondering if ever single loading screen we go through will lock up our PC.
