Please don't tell me it's not 24H2 related PLEASE DON'T.
You're misunderstanding the message here.
The message isn't that 24H2 isn't affected or exacerbates some hardware configurations. Nobody is disputing that.
The message is for the people who are 100% sure that the only issue is 24H2, kindly stop posting that you've got a 100% solution to roll back. You're wrong and you're actively hindering information gathering by suggesting this.
I will say this, though, it is very likely that win10 22H2 has aspects of updates in Win11 24H2 if you're up to date, but I'm not sure how that isn't also true for Win11 23H2 unless the updates are packaged as a major version for win11 and a minor version for 10. Just because we're not at a major version upgrade does not mean that we haven't incidentally got the same functionality causing issues.
Of course, if there are also crashes in linux and console, you'd have to think that there is something fundamentally wrong with the engine.

Guys please don't tell me to read this thread as I've been visiting this thread every day for the past couple of weeks. I also have posted here multiple times and have my own experience.
I played for 200+h without a single hard freeze on Windows 11 23H2 and as soon as I updated to 24H2 the game started to hard freeze. I wrote here and many started to point out that there was a big patch in the game the same day. Well I believed it, and struggled for a couple of days UNTIL I DECIDED TO FINALLY ROLL BACK TO 23H2 AND FROM THAT MOMEMENT I DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE (!!) HARD FREEZE FOR ANOTHER 100+H UNTIL........
Until I bought a new PC with 24H2 and no option to install 23H2. And obviously hard freezes.
I know there r ppl like u guys that have this bug on other versions of Windows, but for majority (based on this thread) it is connected to 24H2.
FOR ME IT ABSOLUTELY WAS AND IS. 100%. NOTHING ELSE.
One more time: 0 freezes - updated windows - freezes every hour. Rerolled back to 23H2 = 0 freezes. SAME PC. NOTHING ELSE CHANGED.
Please don't tell me it's not 24H2 related PLEASE DON'T.
It's not related to 24H2. I spent several hours backing up my PC, rolling back to 23H2, same amount of crashes, then doing a CLEAN INSTALL of 23H2, chrome, poe2. Same amount of crashes.
I then tried multiple nvidia driver versions on 23H2. Same amount of crashes.

Rolling back to 23H2 or running PoEUncrasher is not the fix. The fact that people keep parroting this is wild.
Normalizing downgrading your operating system or using sketchy 3rd party executables to jerry rig your system to run this unoptimized game is not the answer.
If people want to risk bricking their PCs to do this, by all means please do so -- especially because these 'fixes' don't work 100% of the time. But discounting this issue as anything but dire is intellectually dishonest.
Imagine if Diablo 4 had an issue like this at launch. This company gets a pass because the amount of glazing they get is unhinged.
It is a great game, but the response on this issue speaks volumes.
D4 did not have a year+ -long open beta like PoE2 is having so the comparison is moot.
The fact of the matter is that GGG charged money for this just like Blizzard did with Diablo 4. If they'd made early access unpaid and supported it entirely through microtransactions that would be one thing, but they didn't. People have skin in the game now and this is an issue that has been known about for over a month now.

I had this issue when I updated to windows 24H2, I rolled back the update back to 24H1 and game worked fine like usual.
My game ran fine with no freezing before the update. After the update my game would occasionally freeze on a load screen where I could see my mouse cursor move but I could not do anything else with my computer. Alt tab, ctrl+alt+del, alt+f4, nothing worked. The only way was for me to press the power button on my PC. I rolled back the update and game works fine(for the most part) again.

Well lads? Any word from the devs on when they plan on fixing this? I don't want to have to run POE uncrasher forever in the background just to play this game.

just because you begged doesn't mean it's true. it's a fact that it happens on different systems. your specific situation does not change that fact, it just adds to the existing data.
you say you don't want to be told otherwise yet you want us to be told by you otherwise. that's just plain dumb. you're so over in your head and completely missing the context.
again, there is nothing about your specific situation that changes the facts no matter how hard you beg.

No. It's just ur assumption. Maybe a new word for you, but you can use google to learn what does it mean.
Only fact here is that on the same PC, on 23H2 game didn't have a single hard freeze during 200+h. Once it was updated to 24H2, the game started to hard freeze every hour. Once it was rolled back to 23H2 it didn't have a single hard freeze for another 100+h.
IT IS THE FACT THAT SOLUTION TO THE BUG I HAD FACED WAS ROLLING BACK TO 23H2.

How on earth telling that rerolling back to 23H2 completely ended hard freezes for me is being wrong? What r u on?
IT'S A FACT. FACT THAT THIS SOLVED THE ISSUE FOR ME. NOT FOR YOU. NOT FOR YOUR UNCLE JOHNNY. IT HELPED ME. IT IS A FACT.
Just check for the amount of ppl here who started to have this issue after updating to 24H2 and "fixed" it by rerolling back to 23H2.

For whatever reasons the PC Freezes just went away. Although there are some client crashes here and there but they're very rare.
I've switched to Vulkan for a few weeks and things have ran smooth without any pc changes, uncrashers, etc.. just straight gameplay.

Be careful my man, there ton of ppl in this thread who for some reason woke up one day thinking they r smart (when in fact they have iq lower and the amount of calories in a can of coke zero sugar) and who's sole purpose in life to tell you that what you say is spreading misinformation and that there is no connection between hard freezes and 23H2.
