Like unchecking cores is stopping it locking the whole machine up when whatever underlying cause occurs .And changing the priority will push it past whatever it is getting stuck on. sure.
But the underlying problem causing the issues is still occurring in the background and that issue needs to be addressed and fixed by GGG |

Like not to say Kapps isnt a hero. More of a criticism of GGG and any "This is fine with poeuncrasher". It's good we have a tool to help people who really want to play. But GGG needs to pull their finger out

something went worng with latest patch. no issues before. since 010f the game is frequently freezing my computer.

So, 1 month and 3 days since the release of Path of Exile 2 EA.
This thread is, as of now, 350 pages long. Excluding the "Known Issues" thread, absolute radio silence from GGG and its now crystal clear that they will not fix this issue. Also, my crashing got worse and I reverted to 23H2. Fix your game GGG. |

I want to continue playing PoE2, but I cannot, as it endangers my pc. Can you at least answer us GGG?

I've had problems since release but the last patch has completely screwed me over, way more crashes, including a freeze that locked me out my computer till I reset my bios.
Now I'm crashing within a few minutes on any renderer on a brand new pc, this is an absolute fucking joke and I'm disgusted with how this has been handled. So disappointed with ggg lack of communication, don't know what else to say. |

9800X3D X870E-E RAM 64GB RTX 3080Ti Hi GGG, PLEASE, revert the 0.1.0f Hotfix 1! After the smart person finally invented the POEUncrasher, I finally had an opportunity to play the game smoothly without any issues. But after today's fix, I can't even open the game anymore. I tried 4 times, 3 times it just froze but because of the POEUncrasher I could End the process, but on 4th time I received a hard PC freeze as it was before I started to use POEUncrasher, and it NEVER happened after I began to use it. (I play a lot) Now I really hope that the POEUncrasher inventor will give me another chance to play the game (not sure it is now possible because Real-time priority doesn't help anymore). Otherwise, I am stuck to only playing this game using my ROG Ally or have to buy the key to use it on my PS5Pro (btw you could give it to me according to my lifetime spending on PC while the game is not working at all on PC) Last edited by dimonas#0892 on Jan 9, 2025, 6:38:33 AM

POEUncrasher does literally nothing special, as you said "smart" meaning the author. It only automates the process that you can do yourself. If you'd read exact what it does the way it "detects the crash"(c) is super unreliable and it's just another bandaid over gaping wound.
