POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Ok, I turned off dynamic resolution and DLSS. Using that NIS, no upscale option. I just spammed TP and waypoints, no crash so far. Can we get confirmation that this does or does not help others? I didn't really need the FPS, I just wanted DLAA for anti-aliasing. I had dynamic resolution cause I didn't want to drop below 120, OLEDs look garbage at lower FPS. I spammed like crazy with no issues, can someone else try? *I should note I am still using Vulkan. Not sure if that matters or if turning off those other things help DX12 too.. Sure we can isolate what the problem setting is, if we can replicate successfully solving the issue.

I tried switching to vulkan, and now I crash even during gameplay - not just loading screens. So that didn't work for me.

Will try on my much newer laptop shortly and will add results.

Now I can't replicate the crashing with them turned back on. I have no clue anymore. Who knows. Good luck everyone.

I changed Directx 12 to Vulkan, and there are no more crashes.

I have this problem as well, tried everything, where it was occasional before the patch its almost every time since the patch, I can't log in without locking my pc 8 out of 10 times.

I tried Vulcan, limiting the cpu usage on POE, nothing is working. Latest Windows update and Nvidia drivers using a 9800x3d and 3070 gpu

Same issue as everyone here. 7800x3D and a 4080 Super.

After trying out a bunch of things, and taking a break from the game multiple times in frustration since none of it worked, I have managed to get through like 3 hours with no crashes.

I turned of my second monitor and closed all the background apps besides a browser that has trade open, and that seemed to have worked. At least for now. Can not be sure if it was just a coincidence and I was just lucky that I didn't crash during that time or it actually solved the issue.

Regardless, there is no reason I should be forced to turn off my monitors and close applications to play the game. Hopefully this gets addressed soon.

Same issue here. System randomly crash/freeze at the loading screen. I have to hard reset my pc at least 4 times today. I want to enjoy this game but not at the expense damaging my setup.

In addition, I had to repair POE2 client today from the crashes.

CPU: AMD 7600X
GPU: RTX 4070 Ti Super
RAM: 32GB
Windows 11 Pro 24H2

I'm not going to jump hoops reinstalling older windows just to play this. I have zero issues with other games, only POE2.

The latest Patch 1.0b didn't fix this.

Dynamic Resolution - Off
Upscale Mode - Off
Render Resolution - No Upscale
NVIDIA Reflex - Off (tried On - seems no impact, will turn off if it crashes)
Foreground FPS locked to 100
Background FPS locked to 30
Multithread - On (will turn this off if it crashes)

Same issue here. Happened a handful of times over the weekend but now I can't even load in. Freezes/CPU spike and have to hard shut down my PC. Not damaging my components or reverting to 23H2 just to play. Also not installing special software to limit my CPU usage. Please fix asap!
