POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

can't play anymore since 18 dec, and no news about 3.26 nice!

Crashes have been worse than ever before. The patch made things worse. even when disabling cpu cores and having the game on realistic the game finds it way to a constant freeze on every possible loading screen. 23h2 here. so yeah it's not the windows update.

it is fixed for me now.
my PC kept freezing during loading screens where i had to hold the power button to restart it, this happends on computer with an intel Cpu Core i5-12400F and a Gpu GeForce GTX 1080. recently i decided it was time to get a new PC anyways for better performance so i got a new computer with an AMD Cpu Ryzen 5 7600x and a Gpu GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, the freezing happend again within my first 20 minutes of playing Path of Exile 2. so PC freezing happend on my old PC with an intel Cpu and on a brand new high-end PC with AMD cpu so it can't be an AMD Cpu issue. the only thing both PCs had in common is that they are using windows 11 24h2, i decided to download windows 11 23h2 from UUP Dump and do a fresh windows install of the 23h2 and i have not crashed since.. i'm no expert but this HAS to be a windows 11 24h2 issue, i am not sure if i even believe the people claiming to have 23h2 and it still freezes, i was a non believer myself cause i couldn't be bothered losing everything on my PC to go back to 23h2 but i finally did today and i haven't crashed since and i normally crash every 10 minutes on both INTEL and AMD CPUs. edit: incase i do crash again i'll let u guys know but so far 23h2 has solved it for me. Tried to load in today. Three times. Hardcrashed everytime. Not only on maps. Even hideout. Update made it clearly worse for win 11 users.

As NufPoD said, its Path of FreezingLoadingScreens now. Patch 0.1.1 made is so much worst.
Hope you guys go overtime on this issue, game is unplayable. |

Started crashing on Tuesday. Got to 2 crashes and that's enough for me. Going to request a refund even though I have about 70 hours in.
NOT going to brick an expensive computer that I just built 8 months ago for an early access game. |

I switched from windows 11 because after 24h2 non only was the game freezing but that patch itself broke windows 11 for me. Explorer.exe kept resetting itself constantly, whenever I clicked to launch an app I got "Bad stub data received" it was hot garbage. Switched to Pop OS linux and the game runs pretty good, framerate is a bit lower but manageable and now I can play for a while, still no freezes.

Problem persists. it froze on loading screen directly at startup.

Excited for new patch, loads up the game.
Can enter hideout - loads up a map and clicks portal. PC freezes. Nice, here we go again. |
