POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Ya, CursorTarget is a paid shill who would have you install a VM to play this game (LMAO) instead of just demanding the company fix their buggy game that only runs on toasters. Time for an upgrade for him it seems.

No way in hell I'm going to risk bricking my 9800X3D and 4080 super on this unpolished fat turd.

Yeah 100% paid shill. You saw the payouts with your own eyes. Source: "trust me bruh". My suggestion works. With losing of 5-10% of FPS the game became playable for some people. Don't want to use it then don't use it. Is it simple? It is. Feel free to freeze constantly and whine on forums.
Your suggestion DOESN'T work, and consumers shouldn't be forced to do insane diagnostics and workarounds to make a product work. Imagine some kid asking for this game for Christmas, so his parents give him the money to buy it on Steam. It doesn't work, the kid can't figure it out, the parents can't figure it out, Steam won't give a refund, computer takes some kind of damage, parents have to jump through hoops to hope the CC company refunds the charge. You have zero perspective or empathy. Your bizarre defense of GGG for allowing this continue to be an issue is just sad.
Enjoying the deafening silence, everyone?

Kapps is a lifesaver and made his Uncrasher PoE1 compatible, bandaid fix but at least both games are playable now until GGG limits their multithreading on loading screens or Windows decides to make their OS good again.

Been tempted to use an opensource debloater tool and just say fuck windows in an attempt to see if that fixes it.
Okay, I'm done. Everything was fine until the latest patch. After the update, I started getting random freezes in the game. I can enter menus, open character info, and all the UI stuff, but the character and environment are frozen.
I cannot tell what triggers it. Sometimes, it happens in the city, and sometimes, it happens outside. I'm running the game on a Ryzen 7 5800X with AMD Radeon RX 6600XT.
It happens so often that I cannot complete a single area. The game was enjoyable to play but it's no longer usable.

Try enabling the latency meter by pressing F1 when the freezes start occuring, it could be a simple routing issue and the solution is to just pause the game and wait a minute.

IT WORKS! Getting 120-ish FPS right now. But as I understand it doesn't help against CTDs or freezes but at least it doesn't lock up my pc. If the game works fine inside my virtual machine, why can't it work on my PC? Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining because after your suggestion it is a fresh breeze, I can forget about power button.

The most extreme thing I’ve done so far is setting up a Docker container with Linux, loading SteamOS onto it, and running the game on Linux. Surprisingly, that worked, but playing it from the container introduces some lag.

I am not GGG's official and can suggest anything I want without your permission. Period. If you don't like it - don't use it. Enjoy the freezes of your PC. I already posted what you can do as an average user and it doesn't include constantly whining and yelling. The noise doesn't help. Do you want to help? Do something in the right direction.
The latest release of PoEUncrasher which now parks 4 cores instead of 2 has helped me play the game since the newest update. Without it, I can't even get past the initial loading screen before I need to restart my PC with a hard crash

Whats next? 6 cores, or two 3rd party software to run Poe2?
Completely wrong direction to support the game.

400 + pages, two threads with issues. I love the concept and the game but cant support this. If it just crashes becuase it crashes ok, but the whole OS?
People blaming routing, windows, drivers.. no mate. It's the fucking game.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried doing that and it grows, but the game remains frozen despite the 400 000 ms on the counter.
