The probability of damage to modern WORKING hardware due to a sudden power outage is so small that the probability of being rammed by a car is much higher. Sure it's no zero, but it's still marginal.

As the other person told. Read the books and articles from your Gods (Microsoft, Intel, NVIDIA). Your game doesn't have direct access to your hardware.

Because they lack of debug data, obviously. I never said it is not a problem. Moreover I many times emphasised - it is serious and complex issue that doesn't have simple resolving. The introduction of new command line parameter only confirms my words.

As a user, I am very sad to see this state of affairs, but whining will not help matters. We will either have to give the company logs or just not play the game, which is what I also suggested back in December. There is no other way. You can't fix a bug by giving bad ratings on Steam or by spamming the company with messages on the forum how they are bad. It is not rational.

Still crashing on Windows and Linux, and it has gotten much worse on the latter with the most recent patch (can't even load the menu). Both clients were launched with the new "--ex-crash-report" option. Not sure how the crash info gets uploaded, but hopefully it was automatically sent on subsequent launches after the crash.

Playing in a party, clicking on the blue portal icon to teleport. Completely locks and freezes my computer to where I have to manually shut it down to reboot.

Is this damaging to the computer? I do not know how to get it out of the frozen loading screen. No commands work to bypass.

This issue happens in party more frequently but still playing single player.

Please fix!

Applying pressure via bad publicity works all the time. Need I remind you that Sonic the Hedgehog looked like a total freak until people on the internet complained, forcing a change that led to three blockbuster films. “Whining” as you like to call it works frequently. I’m surprised you are actually playing the game considering how much time you spend in here shitting ok your fellow consumers.

I’ll leave it at this: if the Steam reviews fell to “Mixed” or “Mostly Negative” and/or the top content creators were talking about this issue on YouTube, Twitch, and X then you can be absolutely certain that we would have at the very least gotten some clear communication about the problem if not an outright fix. Instead everyone is pretending like things are hunky dory so GGG can focus on content and monetization without much noise in the system. People like you are perpetuating this culture of silence. Yes this has the potential to brick your hardware.

Sadly it's time to say goodbye until this is fixed. I have been using PoEUncrasher for 6 weeks with great success. This past week though, I have seen two hard crashes that required a full PC reset, even while running PoEUncrasher. The one just before I was able to kill the app. And tried reopening it and then hard crashed. Upon rebooting, my PC was just acting weird. I can't do it anymore. I'm almost done with Act III on my first playthrough, just got to the Black Chambers. I'll run the Uncrasher and pray I can just beat this zone without crashing, but then I am done until a fix.

I have 73 total hours and the amount of times the Uncrasher has saved me from a hard crash has to be in the hundreds. Something is wrong with this game and it's a travesty that we're pushing 2 months with borderline radio silence.

I can't believe I'm aying this but I may just have to find peace with Diablo 4 Season 7. This game is great and I don't want to stop playing it. I work full time with kids and the hour or two I get at night is all I look forward to. Game is incredible. But I just can't do it anymore just sitting here filled with anxiety that the next load screen is going to end my brand new PC 9800X3D 4080Super.

What a god damn shame
