POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I tried with another computer with the same result.

13400f
RTX 2070 566.36
Windows 11 24H2 26100.2454
Asus b660m-a d4
Kingston 32GB 3600mhz ram

New PC
Ryzen 5 7600
RTX 2070 566.36
Windows 24H2 26100.2605
Msi B650m Gaming Pro Wi-fi
32GB 6000mhz cl30 Patriot Viper Venom

So it's not hardware related, I don't have this problem with any other game.
Nothing has seemed to fix this issue for me, I've tried everything recommended. Disabling a few cores did absolutely nothing for me, unfortunately. Game is unplayable, hope for a fix soon.
Agreed, ive tried several items as well, going to need to move on until they get this under control, cant be hard powering my pc 3-4 times a day for 1 game.
issue still going on. when will it be finally fixed? we want to play the game hello?!

I don't know why you think you are on a high horse here. Do you really think that GGG shouldn't do anything and the playerbase should fix these issues by limiting their PCs with your "solutions" that doesn't even work for everyone actually?

Most of the people that have crashes aren't even going to come here, just uninstall or refund the game and never play again after 3 hard resets.
Yesterday, the game was functioning normally; however, after the most recent Windows (KB5048652), I encountered a freeze screen during loading.

Windows 10 Pro 22H2

Ryzen 5 5600X
GTX 1060 3GB
Asus steel legend b450m

I'm using DX12!

! ! ! WHAT HELPED ME ! ! !

GO TO > Task Manager > Path of Exile > go to Details > Set Affinity and turn off a core or two.

Thats why using Process Lasso to automate this. The free version is enough.

Set to autostart with windows, configure PoE process to cores - 2 on always and it will automatically set the affinity on every start.

I think what some frustrated players are trying to say is "we appreciate you trying to help but none of these solutions is actually fixing anything"

I do not experience any crashes with any other games. i am on 24H update windows 11.
9th i9 gen. Yes my RAM is on overclock for years now and no other game ever gave me freezes.

Limiting the cores helps with not having to hard reset the PC but the game is still crashing so thats a very limiting temp fix. i have the latest BIOS from ASRock which is from 2021 so there is nothing else to do here.

GGG needs to prioritize something like that. I dont remember which game it was but a couple of years back it was melting GPUs so i expect GGG to take this very serious. They do not want to lose players because of poor handling of issues of this calibre.

i will do a diagnostic report and send it to GGG staff as they requested & i hope they get it under control.

As someone already stated. You program your game so it works on the platform its made for and not the other way around and since this is the only game people have trouble with its obviously something in their programming that needs fixing.

I give this kind of stuff a good week for a hotfix to come out since i think that is a realistic timeframe and in their own best interest
Same issue for me + extremely high CPU Temps. Had a few pc hard freezes which happened during loading screen. Also i have CPU TEMP spikes to 100C during loading screen aswell which never happened ever in any game in the past years and outside of that my temps are amazing.

i5 13600k
Z790 Tomahawk DDR4
RTX3070
32GB RAM
1440p monitor
Windows 11 24H2
NVIDIA driver 566.14

Already send dxdiag to the guy as hze requested
Well stated.
to me it looks like they took over the spaghetti code from poe 1 which had tons of issues for so many people as well. i don't even comprehend how this issue can be present didn't they test this? you can't tell me that nobody that tested the game had a single issue.

how can the temperature go close to 100C in loading screen when even gta 5 on ultra doesn't go close to 80. it's literally eating the cpu alive.

sure we got a post that they are aware of the issue but i do remember well how path of exile 1 had a similar issue that took close to half a year to fix.
