POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Where are the devs? More and more players are starting to have these problems, here I still can't get out of the loading screen, I've tried several tips, none of them solve it.

"

its not a big deal, old ram was refunded to amazon, this fixed another issue with reboot when waking from sleep

Oh man, I just figured it out. It was my dual sense controller causing the issue.You were totally right!

Oh wait it was because I had frames capped at 91 instead of 90. Flawless fix bro.

Please stop posting lol.

Okey i found a way that work at leas for me.

1. Start game and go in Options to switch from Dx12 to Vulkan.
2. Open Task Manager, go to details and finde the running Poe2 exe.
3. Then find the setting where you can choose whitch cpus cores are used for poe2.
4. Turn off Cpu 0 and 1 and maybe 2 so when the game Crasches then the Cores you still have alow you to close the game over the Task Manager and you whole PC dosent Freeze.

So when you close tahe game and Starting it up again, you need to turn off those cores again becurs it dosen save it!!!!!

The switch to Vulkan was useful becurs it let me play the game multiple hours.

Oh and when you playd something else and then want to play poe2, well you should restart you pc befor that cure seems like poe2 dosent like me playing other games and then playing poe2 xDD!
I would like to point out that the game is NOT freezing here, but the loading screen keeps loading forever, the computer doesn't stop working, I just end the game in the task manager. I don't think it's a hardware problem.

The game's rating is only growing, negative reviews with our problem are drowning in positive reviews like "ok". It seems we can't do anything about it... =(
Posting from the other big crash thread.

In case any of you other brave souls want to test the game with a PowerShell script that constantly clears the shader caches:

First of all, go to Start Menu. Search for Developer Settings. Then navigate to PowerShell > Change execution policy (etc) to ON.

"

while ($true) {
Write-Host "Clearing caches..."
Remove-Item "C:\Users\<REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheD3D12\*" -Recurse -Force
Remove-Item "C:\Users\<REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheVulkan\*" -Recurse -Force
Remove-Item "C:\Users\<REPLACE_WITH_YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\Minimap\*" -Recurse -Force
Sleep 60 # Wait for 60 seconds
}

Copy paste the above into a file named clearcaches.ps1. Right click the file in Explorer, Run With PowerShell.

I don't know what the optimal interval might be, so that might need to be tweaked. So far I have had good results, but YMMV.

Some more testing would be very helpful.

PC completely freezes at least once in every 5 loading screen with multithreading "on". Turning multithreading "off" seems to fix the problem but lowers the fps drastically.

Win 11 24H2 with KB5048667
Ryzen 5600X
RTX 2060 v566.36

Closing all background apps like browsers, discord, spotify etc. stopped the freezes on loading screens for me for 10 hours of play; hope it helps.
