Can't enter map portals, disconnected with "an unexpected disconnection occured" error (PoE1)

This error appears for third day in a row. I was able to enter one map out of probably ten, but all others keep getting this error upon trying to enter the portal.
Kingsmarch works, Delve works, Labyrinth works, campaign works. The issue only appears to be with maps. I've tried changing gateways, but it didn't help at all. If it is an expected problem due to server load in these days, please make an announcement, as well as announcement on when the endgame in PoE1 will be accessible again. As a side note, I don't understand why maps disappear in such case. If server could determine that due to internal errors maps are unusable, they could've been given back out instead of wasting them. Update: as was pointed in the other thread, maps opened from the hideout map device work. Important is that you open them there instead of Karui Shores. I have the same problem. I know they are focusing on POE 2 launch, but neglecting fixing this is frustrating due to it completely breaking maps.

I can't access maps from either karui shore or hideout. for some reason i also don't have the map device unlocked in my hideout yet. it's just empty there except the portals.

I have tried the standalone downloader and steam then tried checking file integrity and finally deleting and redownloading the game; all for both steam and standalone.
Same issues crash at map portal. |
