Can't enter map portals, disconnected with "an unexpected disconnection occured" error (PoE1)

same issue for me- just finished playing campaign for first time and I can't do any postgame :(

because I am finishing campaign for first time, I can't open a map in hideout since I don't have that furniture yet

Same issue here:

Does not matter the map, putting it into the device and trying to enter the portal instantly disconnects me.

Using steam, tried fully reverifying all files.

Me and my friend are trying to run maps to get the reward track going and both of us tried to start up maps and both got the disconnection error preventing us to progress at all.

What is this, how can we fix it? I really would like to get my moneys worth and to state the obvious, it makes the game unplayable at this point.

Same here, just finished campaign and now I can't access the map I got from the Commander for the quest, and I just tried a second one that had dropped, so now I'm out of maps again and still can't access it.

Echoing everything yall are saying.

SSF - finished campaign... first map into map device in town, disconnect.

Cant use map device in hideout because you dont get it until youve done your first map.

SO kinda just stuck here..... GGG?

Have been going since release of Poe2.

So can not play any maps at all in Poe1.

for me i fixed this problem ... i can share with you what options i have change ... here picture
after 10000 discon from servef now i can play the game. Try it maybe it help.

I have the same problem. I can't go on any map when I want to go in, game crash.
