125 pages of people complaining of the same thing... Yet GGG has yet to come out and address this problem. Only way I can play is with low settings. Somedays its not terrible and other days I die because the game can't handle what is happening.

Same here, for me it started only a few days ago... thought my computer got roasted after all the hard shut downs i had to do while loading screen freezes..

ssame issue... i thought its because of my location (country) but its happens with a lot of friends especialy with maps that have cold/fire/shock on them. the lag seems less during the day, but night time its unplayable.
Also have the same crash of PC when loading... no alt f4 no alt+ctrl+del, noting works, oonly hard restart. Someting is realy wrong with the game to crash the PC and yesterday i had it few ties in a row, i even wrote a post but... GGG dont care apperantly. Hallo guys, i had the same problems as yours, i'm on high end pc with Nvidia card and the game was unplayable, high FPS but a lot of lag spikes. I found a solution posted on reddit from someone, i've downgraded my Nvidia drivers to 560.94 and my problem disappeared. It's really annoying but now i can play the game without lag spikes. Hope it helps.
Link to Nvidia drivers i'm using now: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/230853/ |

I don't know if this has been brought up here already, but something to try that solved the network lag for me was to disable chat and type /clear.
I haven't had any stuttering and lag after I did that. Edit: To be clear the game can still stutter due to fps drops, but as far as network lag goes this solved it. Last edited by kolsyrad123#4512 on Jan 27, 2025, 5:22:47 PM

For those having network spikes every few seconds, the only way I've found to mitigate this is to log in, see if it is happening, and then if it is, quit the game for ten minutes. Try, try again.
Seems to have about a 50% chance of being bad but quitting the game for a bit seems to reset things somehow. Highly annoying but better than stomaching it for hours on end. |
