Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

I FOUND A SOLUTION! I turned off the Foreground/Background FPS Cap under the Graphics settings and the problem immediately resolved. Not sure if that's the source of everyone's problem, but at least in my case it was a quick and easy fix.

Hopefully this helps other people who have posted in this thread.

There's an issue where the ingame chat is causing the game to stutter, my gpu is fixed at 3ms but with chat enabled my cpu was constantly fluctuating between 3-100ms on the debug graph.

Fix:

Options > Interface > Disable Global/Trade Chat

In chat window type:

/global 999
/trade 999
/clear

Delete the "logs/Client.txt" in the Path of Exile 2 game directory, mine had over 10k lines of junk in there.

Thanks to the dude who rec changing wifi to 2.4 from 5Ghz. For now, it's working for me...

Update: still having issues with lag spikes, but not as bad. They definitely need to fix some server side issues.

They are 100% having issues.

The latency for servers near me (DC for example) is 20ms etc. The game itself is performing at 140FPS. When you open the options menu where you can see the performance graph to the right the latency is spiking back and forth all over the place from 20ms to 400ms like a ball bouncing horizontally forever.

On my end I've completely power cycled the router and restarted my PC. Performed speed tests (which come out perfect). All other services are fine for me.

Yesterday is fine and it wasn't bad early. Tonight it's unplayable.
same problem, high ping today
Game was fine now everywhere except in town is unplayable. Stuttering.
none of these fixes worked for me. I am also on ATT fiber 1gig in california. Game is unplayable when it starts spiking.
Wild stuff, completely unplayable. My latency graph looks like a demented version of flappy bird.
A post with literally hundreds of people complaining about the same issue and not a single peep from a staff member.
Hadn't noticed this until tonight after playing over the weekend. I only notice the stuttering when entering indoor environments--outdoors plays perfectly fine. None of the fixes offered here or on Reddit seem to work.

This is specifically happening in Act 2. I switched to a different character in the act and, when zoning into an indoors map, was not having this rubberbanding issue. I switched back to the original character, who was still indoors, and did not have any issues. When I returned to town and zoned back in, though, the stuttering started hitting really hard again.
