Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access
Same for me, the stuttering makes the game unplayable..
pls fix GGG i5 13400F RTX 3070ti 32GB DDR4 |

Anyone else tried the "New Instance" (through STRG + leftlick in a Waypoint) fix? Still works for me everytime I do it.
Hopefully there is a way for GGG to automate it, so we dont have to do it manually every time. At least me and my friends can play without lags now. Last edited by MCPOKev#0779 on Dec 12, 2024, 5:25:39 AM

I have the same issue and it was a slog trying to play the game. Melee classes are impossible without me freezing next to the boss and dying, ranged classes are marginally better but without being able to see the telegraphs (as my game freezes) I can't dodge the attacks. I'm dying to things that are avoidable it's ridiculous how bad it is. I would have refunded the game but I can't now with some hours put into it, will probably just not play until they fix this issue. Shame as I enjoyed poe2 more than poe1 so GGG is losing new(er) players due to this issue.

" Nope sadly doesn't work for me |

I noticed this - when playing on a laptop using a wireless network and with keyboard + mouse controls, it lags like crazy. I installed the game on my second computer with a wired connection and connected my wireless Xbox controller - there are no lags, even if the ping is not stable. Check if connecting the controller when using a wired network will help you get rid of lags.

Weird thing, but my stutters stabilised after i started streaming on Discord to show my friend, how the game works after morning patch xD
Since then it is buttery smooth. I doubt that'll fix the issue for good, but maybe it'll help as workaround. WrongChatting 4 Ever ;))

How is this latency issue not listed in the pinned 'high priority' is beyond me....

Same issue. Half of the time its ok, half of the time its unplayable. GGG PLEASE, DO SOMETHING. We had the network settings in poe1 for a reason

my friend said during last couple of days lag spike disappeared when servers were not busy, but getting worse during peak hours. it means the more people playing concurrently on the server the worse the lag could be. it's a GGG server capacity problem. there are near 300k people playing POE2 on Steam atm. GGG needs to buy some good servers or upgrade their old servers otherwise lag spike will never disappear

I am also having the same issue. I'm on Steam and I've tried both of the lowest ping servers but had the same issues in both. Also this is starting to affect gameplay. I was playing yesterday and I lost to a boss multiple times because the server paused my instance whenever it lags and then it eats my inputs and causes me to take damage or not use a potion when I click the button. I may try a different server tonight but I'm not able to progress much right now due to this issue. I can post logs if needed.
