Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

I've been having the same issue as one of the first posters: STUBBZZY#2709
Namely my latency would just spike from 20 to 1000 for a millisecond every few seconds. This would only happen on my laptop though, my PC plays perfectly smooth. So I decided to get the cable from the router and connect it to my laptop instead of using the WiFi and whadyaknow, the latency fixed itself just like that.
The thing is that, it's not the router either, because when trying to play through my phone's internet, it's the same thing, big latency spikes every few seconds.
Something is not right with the game's way of treating signals from WiFi's is my only explanation.
Same issue,

Game will go into slow motion while fighting mobs and then I'll rubberband across the map.
Same issue, ping constantly spikes between 10ms and almost 1k ms. It's happening every 1-3 seconds, makes the game unplayable. how does ggg not adress this?!
The servers or the way the game handles load is just junk rn. Game feels so much better when you're playing very late at night from here at least

The game is not even fun to play like this either as everything just got a lag and delay to it
Ninja.

I have the same issue - stable ms, but unplayable lag and stutter. I have the best internet, a RTX4090 & i9-13900k, so... not sure what to do.

i found a solution to this problem, hope it helps as ive been having the same issues for a week now

I've read that this was also problem in POE 1, and that a predictive network setting fixed it (but this setting isn't in POE 2)

You can still do this. Open the .ini file in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/ and change the line networking_type=auto to networking_type=predictive.

Worked wonders for me and my crappy rural internet.

This worked for me too. Thank you. The stuttering was making the game unplayable.

I also had low FPS issues but that was resolved with a BIOS and driver update.

So as I can see, still no fix for this issue, eh.

first week everything was fine !

now got the same problem since 4-5 days. i log in 1-2 mins everything fine and after i get tearing / lagging etc.
normally unplayable in hc ! please fix.
change some settings, but nothing works rly. there must be any other kind of problem.

I can attest to this, I experience the exact same conditions. I need this to be fixed for the holidays.

Come on GGG show us some light at the end of this tunnel :/

actually same for me, it was first in the beginning, they probably reduced server capacity. bought more server-capacity at launch to avoid review bombing and now they just dont give a fuck
