This happened to me to. Please fix - I can't even attempt to get my next 2 ascendency points.

yup, also stuck here.

The solution in found is to join a public party doing that trial. Press J and Public Parties. There are always people looking for help for that trial.
Once you complete it with someone else, you also get the points. Greetings |

I had a similar issue, went back to the trial of chaos where you insert the quest inscribed ultimatum and it was still there! Go check
