POE 2 - Can't use items. Failed to use item: The operation could not be completed

I solved it by entering a map and then using the bug.

happening for me too, cant use anything on anything. in act 2. so if maps are needed to fix it im pretty hosed haha

I have this issue since I used the salvaging bench, after that I couldn't use ID scrolls anymore. ACT1

Same here. I tried going to login screen and it worked once but then stopped working. I tried logging in with a different gateway and it worked, though sample size of 1, worth a try.

Not sure if this helps, but the error only appeared to me in city. I returned to the Hunting Grounds (act 1) for example with my orbs and I was able to use all (quest item, orbs, all that was giving me the error)

Changing Gateway "fixed" this for me, or at least worked as a workaround.

i ALSO CANT USE A book of specialization, doesnt allow me to collect the two skill points.

Same, I can't use any crafting items anymore.

I had the same issue, could not use any consumable items.
Changing server helped, now i can use items again. |
