POE 2 - Can't use items. Failed to use item: The operation could not be completed

Same problem here. Can't use any type of orb on item.

Did the suggestion of changing the server location and it worked!

Go into a combat area and retry.

Obvious bug, but that's the work around.

I have the same issue too. Only way I can use a crafting currency I have to leave town with the mats in my inventory and do it in another zone.

Having this issue with uncut support gem, still in Act 1.

I have just encountered this issue in Act 1 trying to create a level 1 support gem...I have tried relogging, changing gateway, changing zone, nothing works for me.

Really frustrating, I'm just supposed to go without an important support gem?!

Same issue. changing servers, trying in different zones, and relogging don't work. Won't let me cut level 1 support gem. "Operation can not be completed".

Same here, I can't use the Uncut Support Gems on the Frostbolt spell.

I've tried two other servers in the US and the EU, but it did not help.

I just had this problem and on double checking, i didn't have the requirements for the gem. I had 21, needed 25. Might be a visual bug to not show the lacking requirements
